What To Expect

Kick off your tour with pickup at your Cancun accommodation at around 7:30am, when you’ll board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for the Mayan ruins of Tulum.

Formerly a thriving Mayan metropolis, the ruins of Tulum boast a striking position overlooking the Caribbean Sea and are rich in ancient history. Snap photographs of archeological highlights such as the Temple of the Frescoes, adorned with carvings of the diving god, and learn about the cultural significance of the site.

Your next stop is a nearby cenote, in which you’ll refresh in turquoise waters while admiring its limestone surroundings. Revitalized, continue to Fifth Avenue (Quinta Avenida), Playa del Carmen’s principle shopping street.

Spend free time browsing stores selling artisan souvenirs, Habano cigars, and traditional Mexican cuisine before reconvening with your driver for drop-off at your Cancun hotel.

Really good tour. Tour guides were great! Food was good. The combo tour was great if you want to do a lot of activities in one day, you dont get a lot of time at each place
Never again, horror story. 2 cancelations from the excursion company with no valid explanation.

Arrived at the airport and immediately received a call that my excursion had been cancelled and if I was ok changing days, I said yes and the next day I received a text telling me that they did not offer that excursion from my hotel. If I was ok doing a different excursion. I cancelled and never got to go on an excursion. I had booked the original one weeks prior. When they rescheduled me did they not realize they didn't offer the excursion? Horrible service never got to go anywhere, 0 stars.

Luis the tour guide was great. Taught us a lot about ancient Mayan culture. The lunch made by locals was fantastic. The only thing I can say that may effect some is that we were actually gone for 14 hours! Some were upset but we were happy.

The tour guides were amazing! They were very personable and knowledgeable in answering our questions. The only bad part was that it took 3 1/2 hours to get to Tulum from the time they picked us up at our hotel because we had so many stops to pick up others and had to switch from a van to a bus. It took awhile but the tour was with it. The long drive would’ve been difficult for small children.

The guide, coach, lunch, and shopping all were excellent. Tulum was the last of the main Mexico attractions in the Cancun / Mayan area. I could have skipped this. You do not get to learn that much about the ruins and the Cenote not cave-like compared to the others - just a spring fed pond in the open.

The tour guide and driver were wonderful. I was particularly impressed with the tour guide's knowledge and passion when it came to the Mayan ruins at Tulum. While it was a long day in the sun, each part of the tour felt like it moved at a stead pace so we never felt like we were in one place for too long. And we always had a air conditioned van to sit in if needed! Overall great for our one off-resort experience during our stay in Riviera Maya.
