Memorable boat tour! Our guide was awesome and left me in fits of laughter. He was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. However the bus ride was extremely cold and I wish I had been warned before booking that I would need a warm jacket. Could the bus be fitted with heaters

Had a great time on “Matilda”, the Duck boat! Our tour guide is professional and humorous! We got to tour three beautiful lakes and they are all wonderful! A great experience and would definitely recommend to everyone who comes to Rotorua!

For us the humor of the guide coupled with his depth of knowledge of volcanism in NZ. He also used the sound system aboard his vehicle to highlight an intention or reinforce or attitude. His knowledge included the fauna and flora of the three lakes we visited as well as the Maori history of early tourism and specifically the Tarawera eruption. A trip well worth it and a task done superbly.
