Woods to adore!

Wunderful woods with these enormous trees, a murmuring creek and an air so fresh and aromatic you could sell it in bottles :) I would have liked to stay much longer and to explore more of the trails, but the clock was ticking. We went on Friday afternoon so the Woods were very crowded - If you can get there on your own, choose a time when the rest of the world has to go to work/school. Our Tour.Guide Robert gave us a lot of background information, that was great too. I get easily car.sick, but the curvy drive was no problem. In Sausalito I really liked the view back to SF.

Absolutely loved this tour! Our guide Katya was amazing and added so much to the experience, sharing so much history and offering great tips as we ventured into the woods and out in Sausalito. Was truly the perfect afternoon!

Visit to Muir Woods

We had a great time on the tour to Muir Woods. Our driver/guide, Ben, was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of information as we drove to our destinations. The Woods were beautiful and peaceful and we were able to enjoy them without feeling rushed. Sausalito is a cute little area and it was fun to walk around & get lunch. All in all it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon!

Muir Woods is breath taking and everyone should go! It’s a peaceful place where all your stress goes away. Our guide for the tour was very friendly, patient, and was very knowledgeable, he made our trip very fun!

Walking on the trail in the woods was like going to church because it really felt like a religious experience. The absolute beauty of the vegetation and trees gave you a feeling of something more then just a hike in the woods. It was a very smart move to have this protected for the future.

Amazing tour guide, Dustin. Very knowledgeable on San Francisco history and the ins and outs of the city. Got to snap a picture at the Golden Gate Bridge, tour Muir Woods (the best part of the tour to me) and Sausalito. Wear shoes you don’t mind dirtying up for the tour - you are going into the woods!

Too short

The Muir Woods and Sausalito was a beautiful tour, it is a fine tour if you just want to go and see around very quickly. If you want to walk around the woods and maybe do a trekking trial, this is not the tour for you as there is not enough time. other than that, the van was confortable and the tour guide was nice.

Timely and efficient

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. We left on time and we had enough time to explore at each stop that did not feel too long or too short. The half day tour was nice because the drop off at the Piers allowed us to explore on our own for the afternoon.

Great half day trip, our guide was excellent,,knowledgeable, personable and funny. We stopped for photos at the Golden Gate Bridge & Palace if fine arts, along with stops at Muir woods and Sausalito. We booked the tour mainly to see Muir Woods & we weren't disappointed, it’s such a beautiful place to spend some time, the Redwoods are extraordinary, the woods are tranquil and peaceful, a great contrast to the city. Sausalito was also great, our guide suggested places to visit & we absolutely loved the bakery/cafe, family owned and popular with locals and visitors alike. We will catch a boat back to Sausalito to spend more time there. Again a nice contrast from the busy city, it was quite quiet when we visited and had a slower pace.

It was a really nice tour not only for the spectacular views in these beautiful places but also for the transportation services in a nice van and a great tour guide. This German guy (I forgot his name) was so kind at all times and really provided us of useful information and nice tips during the tour. I had a great time and hope all my tours were this way.
