What To Expect

Get picked up from your Santiago hotel or private accommodations. You’ll choose between either a morning or afternoon pickup time when booking. Then drive aboard an air-conditioned minivan to this renowned vineyard, located in Chile’s Maipo Valley.

When you arrive you’ll have time to explore the winery’s beautiful grounds, including its historic 19th century summer residence. Then learn more about the winery’s famous brands like “Casillero del Diablo” and “Don Melchor” during a stop at the Garden of Varieties, a test vineyard that grows 26 different types of wine-producing grapes. You’ll also get to visit the Old Pirque vineyard and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding Maipo Valley.

Finish your Concha y Toro visit by heading underground to the cellars for the winemaker’s Casillero del Diablo brand, learning about the origins of this famous wine mark as you taste three different vintages. At the end of your excursion you’ll return to Santiago and be dropped off at your starting point.

Nice private tour to Concha y Toro

The driver was Chilian official guide having a license. He told us a lot about Chile and Santiago de Chile, and also Chilian wine during driving. We could get to know a lot about Chile and Santiago, and also the wine story in Chile. Of course, Concha y Toro was nice.

The winery was good. A nice tour and three wines were tasted. There was however no cheese or snacks to go with the wine as described in the write up on Viator.com. The reason I am rating this tour as poor is because of the small vehicle MTO Chile sent for 4 large adults. It was so cramped that a first we hesitated even trying it, but was told that I’d we did not take the car, we would miss our tour entirely. So off we went for a very uncomfortable 90 minute drive. Upon arrival we again explained our discomfort and asked that the guide contact MTO Chile which they did. The manager, Guillermo Rojas, said he did not have any other cars to send for us so we were again stuck in the Subcompact SUV for the trip back to the hotel. My advise would be to get verification in writing about what kind of vehicle will be provided to prevent a similar experience.

Okay so you are really only paying for a ride to the Concho y Toro vineyard where the driver will buy your ticket and point you in the right direction of the group tour that you go on. The tour was nice but you could probably just hire an Uber to take you there and back

I visited the Vineyard with my wife. The tour was in English and the guide's ability to speak English was very good. He was also very funny and knowledgeable. The wine was delicious as well. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this tour. 100%.

It was a beautiful day to enjoy this amazing vineyard. Our driver, Marcelo, was punctual for our hotel pick up. His English was excellent and he safely maneuvered the car through the traffic. His attentive professional assistance was outstanding and made our trip so enjoyable.

Ce n’est pas une visite privée. Donc, je ne recommande pas de payer pour ce tour « privé ». Seulement le transport qui est privé. Transport privé dans une voiture sans air climatisé et qui évite les routes à péages donc il prenait des petites routes moins belles et le voyage a été plus long. La visite du vignoble était bien mais n’était pas privée, il y avait d’autres personnes.

Kan kun anbefale denne tur. Privat chauffør som var venlig og informativ. Bilen var velholdt og chaufføren/guiden kørte godt. Alt klappede og vi kan på det bedste anbefale denne måde at besøge Concha y Toro på.

Contratamos o serviço a partir do centro se Santiago. Serviço excelente. Transporte de quase 1 hora e meia, retorno igual. A visita tem duração de 1 hora e meia ou um pouquinho a mais. Comparando com as visitas de viniculas no Brasil achei curto. Passeio de 4 horas e meia.

O serviço da Viator foi exelente, pontualidade e cordialidade do motorista Henri. A vinicola é linda, a história, a degustação, casa central, paisagismo. Um verdadeiro parque mais, esperava mais, tal como um tour mais profundo dentro do parreiral, bem como ver a produção.onde se produz, pois não é época. Mais valeu a pena.
