My husband Tom and I spent three wonderful hours with Elisabetta walking through the beautiful streets of Venice. Elisabetta was so knowledgeable and funny. She tailored the tour to our needs and showed up so many little treasures. Make sure you see the Bansky painting on one of the canal walls! I would recommend doing the tour at the beginning of your stay in Venice so you can visit all the little shops and great places to eat she recommended along the way.

Got to hear about the "back story" of part of Venice from a life-long local. Although not a criticism, His English was a little hard to understand. Also, he met us at the assigned spot, he did not have any signage to even indicate that he was a tour guide, let alone our tour guide.

Christina was a passionate advocate of her birthplace, Venice. Great way to see the outer facades of the highlights of the city. There’s no time to actually go in any of the sites but since this was toward the end of a multi-city Italian vacation we weren’t looking to go in any more extravagant churches or palaces.

Our guide Genny was fantastic. She showed us neighborhoods, markets, eateries and historic buildings off the beaten path as opposed to all the places the tourists can find on their own. Very personable and she followed up with a number of recommendations and links to other activities we asked her about Gondola rides, Murano glass, etc).

Genny was fantastic! She stepped in when the other tour guide got sick and couldn't go with us. She knew all the best places for shopping and eating local. She was able to give us directions to get to a restaurant we wanted to eat at and a glass place for me to get the special treasure I wanted. She was able to give us details and history that could only come from someone who lived there. If you want to have a deeper understanding of Venice and its people take this tour!

The best private tour by Cristina!! She showed us many local areas of Venice most tourists do not have a chance to see, avoiding overcrowded walkways and alleys by taking us back ways and hidden passages. All topped off by a wonderful local wine tasting. Last but not least she managed to get us in to the rooftop viewing terrace where we could see all of Venice and take some spectacular photos.
