April till september 9:30 till 15:00
Via dello Zoosafari, Fasano, Brindisi, 72015

The basics

Kids will love taking a break at Zoosafari Fasanolandia, where you can drive through the safari area for a close look at elephants, lions, giraffes, and a dozen other types of wild animals roaming free. In addition, the park is home to a conventional zoo with polar bears, rhinos, hippos, and other species lounging in enclosures designed to mimic their natural habitats; a reptile house; a butterfly pavilion; a tropical and exotic bird exhibit; an aquarium with sea lion demonstrations; and areas dedicated to the fauna of Madagascar and Oceania. After admiring the park’s collection of fauna, head to the adjacent amusement park, with exciting rides for all ages, a 4D cinema, and shows and performances.

When to get there

The park is open daily from April through October, though specific areas of the park are open on the weekend all year long. Summer weekends are often very crowded, so stop on a weekday to enjoy the animals and rides without the throngs of visitors.
