  • Your ticket for the Heineken Experience is a ticket with a timeslot you chose while making a reservation. You can ONLY enter the Heineken Experience at this specific time. Changing your slot time is NOT possible. The address of the Heineken Experience is Stadhouderskade 78 Amsterdam.

  • The timeslot you book is the timeslot for Heineken Experience. You can use your voucher for the City Canal Cruise daily between 10:00AM and 06:00PM from our docks at Heineken Experience and Hard Rock Cafe.
  • Please note that your voucher needs to be scanned at Heineken Experience. You can redeem your canal cruise inside one of the ticket offices of Blue Boat Company where a timeslot will be assigned.
  • Blue Boat Company has 2 docks: * The first dock is located at Stadhouderskade 501 opposite the Hard Rock Cafe. Take tram 1, 2, 5,11 and 12 stop at Leidseplein. from there the dock is a 2 minute walk. * The second dock is located at Stadhouderskade 550, opposite Heineken Experience. Take tram 2, 5,and 12 stop at Rijksmuseum. from there the dock is a 5 minute walk or take metro No. 52 and stop at Vijzelgracht. From there the dock is only a 2 minute walk.
  • Last City Canal Cruise from Hard Rock Cafe departs at 18:00.
  • Last City Canal Cruise from Heineken Experience departs at 17:15.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Book your boat tickets at the office before the brewery.

We went to Heineken at 2:30pm. We booked at this time by it seems to be a guide only. As they just let anyone with a booking in. It was a perfect time. Not too busy on the brewery, and allowed for us to easily buy tickets to the roof top and enjoy the view. After 4pm, the que was huge!!! The boat ride- conveniently across from the brewery. However, it should be noted that you need to take your Viatour ticket to the ticket office and exchange it for a booking slot. These book it quickly. So my advice would be is to do this before going into the brewery.

The Heineken Ex was a 4 star experience. My husband and I really enjoyed it. The boat tour was a 2. Audio was poor and seats were uncomfortable.

Heineken was great experience and the staff were very kind, polite… also David was very professional and help me to understand everything… ADA was not impediment to do my tour because him and the lady at the front line… thank you so much for a wonderful and great experience!!!! I can’t said the same with the blue boat canal cruise… the staff include the lady that give us my husband and me the ticket was very rude and not want to help at all to understand the tour, it was bad experience with them ( Blue Boat Canal Cruise) 5 star only for the Heineken staff and tour

Extremely vague on actual meeting point for the BOAT ride. Was told to meet at the actual brewery, when in reality it was across the street. The Heineken Experience itself was literally just a commercial lol not work the hype, the beer is not good. It’s fine if you don’t have anything else to do. Otherwise, not worth it. Drink better beer at a cool bar instead.

Very fun experience and tour! We loved it! Enjoyed the new Silver Heineken at the end too! Canal cruise was lovely and very relaxing way to see Amsterdam. A nice change from walking.

Heineken tour was disappointing. Blue boat canal cruise was excellent, got to see plenty of historical sites with interesting audio commentary and great views. Knowing how each tour was I would skip the Heineken tour.
Just Buy the Tickets when you get there

Cheaper to do book these separately at the stops. The boat is literally right across the street from the Heinekein museum. This ticket was pointless since it didn’t get you anything special. And the snack box is not worth the money.

The Heineken museum experience was educational in a really fun way and fascinating to see where and how the brewery started. Great value and good atmosphere in the bar at the end! The canal trip was great to understand the development of Amsterdams’ canal system and how that shaped the city. Came with a nice selection of snacks and drinks which were perfect after the museum.

heineken museum was great fun! and eneded up sampling more beers than i thought i would 🤣 , really good for the money considering you got to a tour of the heineken brewery and a boat trip , the boat trip was not as good as the brewery tour tbf as it had an electronic guide which is never as good as a real guide however i knew about that before booking

Hi, We went to the location we were given at 2:30. I was told to goto the Heineken experience first which we did. Then after the Heineken experience we went back to the boat and was told it was sold out. I said I have a ticket it can't be sold out and you told me to come after the Heineken experience. He printed us off our tickets and said we could walk down the street and 10 minutes and try to jump on another boat. We went down the road in the rain and it was full. They told we could try and wait till the evening but we had a dinner reservation. We couldn't even go on the tour
