    Our hosts were really funny and gave us such a great tour of the canals in inner Amsterdam. The drinks and cheese plates were a big plus, the seats were extra comfy, plenty of room to stand/sit and move around the boat, and was covered with clear windows so we can see outside without getting bogged down by rain/wind.

    Great value for your money. Unlimited beer and wine. Very relaxing and informative. Very convenient to get to the Anne Frank House from the boat.

    This sort of experience will be determined by the weather and who you spend your time with. My GF and I enjoyed ourselves, we opted for the cheese and drinks package, and we were not disappointed. Fortunately for us the weather dried up and the deck hand (albeit at the behest of the captain) thankfully listened to our requests to pull up the boat blinds for a great view while cruising down the canals, with these left down it just wouldn’t have been the same. There were a couple groups uninterested in the guided tour, talking over the captain, which was quite annoying as he got fed up and stopped, although we were finding it interesting. Thankfully the deck hand also started talking us through a few more interesting places around the canals as the cruise continued. The wine was good, the beer was cold and the cheese was a tasty two types of Gouda. Trip was a little quicker then expected (so make sure you get your drink orders in early!) and the unexpected extra guests made it a little frantic trying to figure out whether we could stay on board when we returned to dock to enjoy another glass each but for the price it was worth it.

    The instructions to find the boat were poorly provided. We ended up at the flagship boat, and the guide told us we were at the correct place based on the tickets we purchased. The college kids shared nothing of the history of Amsterdam and didn’t know how to adjust their story to be age appropriate for several families on board.

    Hi Marija, Flagship is our sister company. So the boat was correct. Unfortunately due harsh goverment regulation we are not allowed to do a lot about directions. So I understand your frustration, but we are limited in what we can do. But we have the boats branded and wear bright orange jackets.

    Absolutely stunning tour! Our guides, Faried and Fran, were very friendly, knowledgeable and excited to share their information with us! The cheese and wine was a great touch that made us feel very “boujie”. We would recommend this tour to anyone looking to see Amsterdam from a different perspective and to learn about its history.

    We really enjoyed tour of the canals, learning tidbits about Amsterdam. Plenty of delicious Dutch cheese and unlimited drinks provided. Seeing the city from the vantage point of the boat is a great way to experience Amsterdam. The boats are very nice and have windows that can be opened for better picture taking.

    There was a bit of confusion as to which boat we need to be on but the guides were very patient with providing the right info on where we should go. Tour started on time, we boarded few mins before 6pm. The boat was clean and had an old-timey feel about it. Dara and Jeroen entertained us the entire way with history & some modern stories about the canals, even pointing out which house boats are available for Airb&b rentals. Wine and cheese pairings were lovely as well. Would do this excursion again!
