Beautiful home but shocked that Viator doesn’t pay site.

This home is beautiful to visit. However VIATOR IS NOT paying this site for tickets purchased on Viator!!!! We had already paid Viator, could not use the tickets and had to buy new tickets in the spot!! Shocking that this can happen. I will never trust Viator again!

Museum Willett-Holthuysen was a beautiful home and garden. It is definitely a 'must see' museum. It was interesting to hear how the many occupants of this grand home lived over the past century.

It was a great looking place as seen from the water tours. I unfortunately missed the tour and only saw the exterior. It made me kick myself. If the interior tour was as good as it sounded and the grounds as beautiful During July the garden I am certain was looking great I really blew it.

Det fanns audio guide att hyra för 1 Euro, vilket var väl värt pengarna, då det var mycket information som fanns inläst. Museet var enkelt att gå runt i, de hade samlat ihop möbler och ägodelar från flera olika köpmansfamiljer, då all original möblering inte fanns kvar. Det gick ändå att bilda sig en god uppfattning kring hur det såg ut på den tiden då det begav sig. På baksidan av huset finns en fin anlagd trädgård, som tyvärr inte blommade fullt ut vid vårt besök, men man kan absolut se hur det är tänkt att se ut ändå. Trädgården gör sig bäst från andra våningen genom fantastiska panoramafönster.
