    Delicious Food and Great Guide!
    Chris_D, Apr 2024
Soooooo good! We went on a food tour the day before at Tsukiji market and paid more for that tour than this Asakusa food tour and this tour blew it away! Rie was an awesome host and we had such amazing food and good portions too! The sushi was great! The dumplings were great! The snacks and sweets were great! Rie was an excellent guide full of energy and hospitality and did an excellent job teaching us about Asakusa and Japanese food culture. It was me and my wife but we also had 4 others on the tour and they were great people to hang out and talk with as well. Absolutely recommend!

Our guide “Rei” was awesome. She introduced us to various traditional Japanese food places we would have not found ourselves. She was very knowledgeable, funny & passionate. Told us a lot about AsaKusa as well.
    Delicious!

Do this tour if you like incredible sushi. We ate more than that, but the first stop at the standing sushi bar was outstanding. Our guide was amazing and we had a ton of food and fun.
    Fun food tour!

Highly recommend this tour. Taiga was great. He gave us some history as well as information about the food we were eating. Enjoyed walking around Asakusa and sampling some delicious food.
    The Foods of Asakusa

The lovely area at Asakusa was perfect for this outing which included sushi, tempura, soba, dango, and sweet potato treats. Our guide, Shino, was amazing with her insights and mastery of the English language. We strongly encourage you to ask for her by name. One of the best parts was the standing sushi bar with unique types of sushi. Wow! We already loved Japan yet now love it even more!
    Fun and delicious food tour

We had a fantastic time on the walking tour in Asakusa. Our hosts Kaz and Tighe (sorry not sure on the spelling) were great. They were very personable, spoke great English and looked after us really well (especially the 8 year old who was traveling with us). It was a rainy day but they managed to keep us undercover for a lot of the tour. The food was delicious and they were good at explaining about the origins and how to eat it properly. The okonomiyaki (two styles) and the stand up sushi bar (with different parts of the tuna) were outstanding as were the sweet treats at the end. We did not go away hungry!!
Experience the food culture of Asakusa

Really loved this tour! The team was very accommodating with my brother’s soy allergy. We were able to eat hard to get sushi, like the tuna head, tuna check and the tuna meat between the ribs.
    Fantastic food in Asakusa

Shino was so very hospitable and we were lucky to have a great group. We were taken to 5 delicious food spots in Asakusa and had so much fun inquiring about Tokyo and conversing. The food was on point and the restaurants provided a great experience. It's better for me to stop here and just recommend the tour because you will not be disappointed.
    Good food, great guide

Highly recommended! Our guide, Shino, was the highlight of our tour. She was so friendly! We asked a lot of questions, and she answered them all. We learned a lot about local Japanese culture. We had a great time because we had such a nice guide :) The food was very good, and a nice variety. Melon-pan was of course our favorite treat :) The tour is also a good way to briefly sightsee around central Asakusa, near Sensoji. Shino pointed out a few other places we could go afterwards too.
    Best Sushi ever!!!
    Christine_F, Jul 2023
Great fun with the whole family! Sato brings you to 5 different restaurants/food stalls and every singly one is just simply delicious. I can honestly say that these were the best Sushi I have ever eaten. He also gives you lots of background information about Asakusa and its history as the entertainment centre of Tokyo. A visit to Senso-ji temple concludes the food crawl tour. For added entertainment value: Ask Sato about some of his celebrity guests! Great fun - I would book this again in a heartbeat.
    Highly recommend

Amazing your guides. They were incredibly friendly, and made the whole experience fantastic! If you're nervous about sushi, it's a great way to try it out without pressure, and you've probably never had anything quite like it.
    You will love this experience

Our guide Sato was exceptional! He provided the perfect amount of history and context for each of our food stops. And the food, it was amazing! Best sushi I've ever had! Highly recommend this tour!!!
    Awesome food!

Giulia was an excellent, knowledgeable tour guide. Meeting her at the first restaurant was very easy. She took us to about 5 or 6 places for a range of foods and concluded near the central shopping area/temple in asakusa. To top things off, without even asking, she sent us a list of suggestions for places to eat in both tokyo and kyoto! The tour was a great experience for us!
