Absolutely loved it
Lauren_L, Aug 2022
This was such a great trip, we had 2 children with us and they loved it too! The staff on board were great and so knowledgeable. We paid for the diamond tour and would recommend the upgrade, it meant you got drinks on board the coach, the life vest at the cenote and a drink at lunch all included so it was much easier knowing everything was already included, all you then need money for is some tips and souvenirs At coba we took the taxi/tuk tuks up to the Ixmoja pyramid which was only 150 pesos for both ways, it saved alot of time and meant we got to see more of the ruins as the stopped along the way, plus they gave you little bits of information about the ruins too The cenote was fantastic, so refreshing after walking around tulum, getting in and out of the cenote was easy too as it had wooden steps to get in and out, the food at lunch was lovely too! All in all this was a fantastic trip and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the cancun/riviera maya area!

“Amazing Tours” not amazing at all!
Denise_S, May 2022
We got picked up in a van with really bad AC and we were crammed in it like sardines. The driver wasted so much time parked and arguing with someone on the phone, something about not having room for two more people he was supposed to pick up. We were supposed to get dropped off at another site to change into a bus for the “Deluxe” tour I paid for but the van ended up taking us to Tulum. Therefore we got no drinks on the way there. When we got to Tulum they told us we did not have the deluxe tour. I showed them my receipt and they still called the operator to confirm, which took over an hour for the operator to confirm. Being at the Tulum site was beautiful, but we were so rushed we did not enjoy it at all. Before the tour I got an email saying we could not go to Coba because it was “closed”. We were also told we would go to another Mayan city. That never happened! When we got to the Cenote we spoke to the local Mayan people and they told us Coba was not closed. We didn’t get to ride bikes or any of that fun stuff at Coba. On the way back we were in the small van, again no drinks with the deluxe tour we paid for, and once again crammed up in a van with hot air. Amazing Tours is the name of the company t and there was nothing amazing about them. I’ve been calling the main number because I feel I should at least get half my money back for only visiting two sites and not being offered the deluxe part. They have not called me back. I’m very disappointed and telling everyone to not book with them!
A history lesson

There should be something that lets your customers know that there will be lots of walking and also lots of bugs.

I tried to cancel, before the 24 hr. deadline and no one would return my call or email. Upon arrival i hurt my knee and had to get medical care.
Response from Host, Sep 2022
Hello Theresa, thank you for informing us about this situation, if you want to cancel due to medical care you need to prove it with a medical prescription where we can see that you are not in conditions to realize the activity. Thank you for your understanding, have a nice day.
A must do!
Siva_M, Apr 2021
What a fun day we had! Highly recommend. When you go to the Coba Ruins you have to take the bike that the people drive you to see the ruins. There's no way you'll have time to see everything. So much to see in one day!
Response from Host, Apr 2021
its my favorite place too. I hope come back with your family and friends and have amazing adventures in Riviera Maya
Good for the price!!
AllisonWilliams, Mar 2021
First off my tour guides were rude at first. Talked to danna and she straighten things out and they changed their tune. The experience itself was a nice one, tulum and cobra was beautiful. You don’t get a lot of time at each stop so try to rent a bike at COBRA. It’s a long walk. The lunch was okay. It was nice. This excursion takes all day like 12-13 hours. So be prepared for that as well.

Great experience
Gerry, Feb 2021
I really enjoyed the tour. It was nice to visit the Mayan house and learn about their culture. Tulum was nice, lots of walking, little time. Coba was better because of the bikes options. Lunch was ok, I’ve had better in Mexico but it was delicious nonetheless. My only complain is that the time in Playa del Carmen felt a little rush and kind of late. Overall I would recommend this tour. The guides were nice and knowledgeable.

Great tour Simon gave great information, super packed day, wish we could have had more time at the ruins and a guided tour but other then that they were great.

Disappointed
Rocio_C, Dec 2020
Same as if we had done it without a guide. The guide that took the Spanish group in tulum was knowledgeable and fluent in English. Our group had a guide that spoke basic English and provided extremely limited information. No guide at Coba. This was more of a driver services than a tour. Also, they offered a package for 15usd pp on board the bus. The guide made it sound as if it was a great value to buy it. It was a rip-off. He said water at the ruins would be usd 4, the life jacket at the cenote another usd3 plus the bike it wouldbe a lot more than usd15. It was not true, the water or beer was 1.50usd, the bike 3usd.
Don't walk, ride the rikshaw/bike at Coba!!
Dominique_E, Nov 2020
My family and I went on this tour and we had Augustine and Carlos as our tour guides. They did an amazing job!! I highly recommend both of these men. The only thing I wish we could have done more of was had more time at Tulum. Maybe have Augustine and Carlos tell us different things on the bus ride with pictures of what everything is and then when we got there gone exploring. NOW Coba, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take my word on this and get a rikshaw or bicycle. DO NOT think you can do it by walking in the time the tour gives you. You can not do it. We are fast walkers and we didn't even get to the end before we had to get a rikshaw for the ride back because we had to leave. GET A BIKE!! Also this will help with time to explore some and take pictures because it is really breathtaking. The cenote we went to was neat because it looked like it was down in a cave and it was really fun for our first one to see. Playa del Carmen could have been left off to give more time to the other places. We really only went 4 blocks and had to turn around because we were running out of time. So that is my only other suggestion. Cut some of the spots out and give more time at the others.

Great Full Day Excursion
Sara_M, Oct 2020
Definitely bring mosquito cream/spray/wipes for the ruins excursions. An umbrella would be a nice option to have so bring a small one with you if you can. The views at Tulum were breathtaking. You will also see iguanas around the grounds and on the ruins. Drinks are not included in the lunch buffet and were 35 pesos. This lunch seemed pretty authentic and was a nice change from a restaurant or resort dining. During the excursion of the ruins at Coba, at the entrance, you can choose to walk, bike, or ride during the tour. We chose to ride. If we were to do this again, we would choose to each rent a bike for about 60 pesos each. Riding cost 140 pesos. You can kind of explore at your own pace. I would say the distance would be about 6 miles round trip through the ruins. We plan to do some research of the ruins at Tulum and Coba since the language barrier did not allow for in depth explanations. The cenote was pretty cool. You also have to pay for a lifejacket if you choose to have one, which was 40 pesos. You walk down steps to the cenote. You will probably see bats but they were not flying or disturbing anything or anyone. There is a landing area that is maybe 4 foot deep that you can stand on once you reach the bottom of the steps. It is a large landing enough so that there can be more than one group standing on it at the same time. There are 2 platforms that people can dive off of or you can simply take the stairs down into the water. Of course it was cold in the water, but it was so worth it after such a hot day. The driving from one activity to the next was somewhat lengthy but no more than 2 hours and was enough to rest on the bus while in route in between the activities. We were picked up around 8 and returned around 8 in the evening so this was a solid 12 hour excursion. Unfortunately, due to COVID, you cannot walk/climb on the ruins at Coba - but honestly you would be extremely exhausted to climb all 100 plus steps each way after walking to it about 2 miles from the entrance.

4 exursions prévues sur...
Corine_B, Jan 2023
Response from Host, Jun 2023

Natalia_V, May 2021
Response from Host, Sep 2022
