Pleasantly surprised

I usually try to avoid big bus tours but due to travel issues we had to reschedule a couple things and this was one of the few an available and we totally lucked out. The weather created a perfect fall day- a little chili and misty at first but then a little sunshine and dry. Our guide was great and the trip was the perfect length to see the country and some history

It never happened. The tour got cancelled & we were never informed. Waited for an hour for a bus that didn’t arrive then had to search where to get refunded for a tour I booked months ago.

Bad Experience with Inexperienced Tour Guide

We were assigned an inexperienced Tour Guide who left us all stranded at each site, spoke very little on the bus. No stop was made at sheep farm, as advertised, as driver got lost driving and got stuck on a private residential dirt road and needed the help of the homeowner to back out. Total waste or our hard earned money for over 10 hours. You should refund all passengers immediately!! Never again!!

Great tour. Lots of free time, very comfortable bus. Our guide/driver was wonderful. One almost problem was the meeting place. There was no announcement or sign for the tour. We saw a group leaving at 820am ( meeting time was 830am). Fortunately we followed them and asked or we would have missed the tour.

Derrick was our guide for the day and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. He made it so much fun - we sang the Molly Malone song and When Irish Eyes Are Smiling. He was funny, gentle, and a great tour guide. I hope everyone who takes this trip are lucky enough to get Derrick!

Decided to take the trip rather than organising it myself and drive up to Avondale and Wicklow Mountains as i do not enjoy those narrow roads in area. I enjoyed it very much, had great time in Avondale park, as well as around Glendalough. The highlight of the day was Michael's farm and his well trained dogs. The day was intense, with 13 km or 17k walked between all attractions,

Excellent way to see and hear about the history and beauty of Ireland.

I loved all of it. Our guide Keith was so knowledgeable and interesting. The sheepdog demonstration was so authentic. Michael is amazing with his dogs. I loved being able to walk a bit of St. Kevin’s Way. Glendalough is gorgeous!

Wicklow was amazing, it felt that you Cannor made the trip very enjoyable. we were on top of the world, just beautiful. Continuing to Glendalough I loved the walk through the cemetery seeing so many years of the pass but I think walking through the woods to get to the river and to look at nature at its best was amazing.

Nice to join the sheep farmer that showed his dogs and had a good story. The National Park is highly recommended but try to go in low tides as it was very busy.

Poor description by driver of scenery - visit to sheep farm was only okay , we have seen much better - we stopped for over an hour at a toilet/coffee stop and were 'dumped' for three hours at Glendalough with no tour of the site but simply left on our own - this was supposed to be for just 1 & 1/2 hours - generally very underwhelming and definitely not what was expected or advertised.

The monastery and the lake at Glendalough are stunning. The sheepdog demonstration was a lovely addition to the tour and we loved watching Jim and Maggie (the dogs) do their work. Mark, the guide, was the star of the show, he even took time to teach my husband how to make a Bridget’s Cross.

Wonderful tour from Harry

We wanted something that helped us to get a feel for the real Ireland outside of the bustling city of Dublin, and we were not disappointed! Harry was our tour guide on the trip around to Hollywood, Wicklow and Glendalough and we had a wonderful experience. His storytelling and Irish facts kept us absorbed for the duration of the trip. Highlights include the beautiful scenery and a special touch was watching a sheepdog demonstration from Arthur the Shepard! Some things that Harry said will stay with us - “no good story ever started with ‘I got an early night’” and “if you can’t have good ‘craic’ in Dublin, you’ll never have good ‘craic’ anywhere” (craic means good/enjoyable time, and good craic is what we had! Would 100% recommend.

The guide was amazing. He knew so much about where we were going. He gave us really good recommodations. He was amazing in story telling and was funny too. We went to a sheep farm where we've seen an amazing sheepdog démonstration with everything explained about the training and about their work. We had the chance to see some puppies! Then we went to Hollywood village where we had some times to walk and admire the scenery of the Irish countryside. We had our best sandwichs/wraps of our stay, here in Ireland, at the Hollywood café. Then we went to Glendalough. Where everything was beautiful. It was pure magic at every steps. The old tombs, the green path, the lakes, the forest etc...

It was amazing. The guide explained everything very well and I learned a lot. He was a very nice person and I couldenhoy the tour. He also played traditional Irish music, which was very cool. Wiclow is perfect!! It is very beautiful and I am love with it.
