Lovely Day

Loved Kilkenny Castle — would have liked more time to explore the town. Glendalough was beautiful and we enjoyed our gentle hike. Our driver was friendly and accommodating.

Very sorry to hear that you did not your tour of Kilkenny with us. There si quite a bit of driving to Kilkenny as its quite a distance from Dublin

Our tour was lovely. It was nice having just a small group along the way. Richard was very friendly and funny and knowledgeable of the area. The van was comfortable and the drive between the sites was scenic and informative. We had freedom to explore at each site at our leisure and thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Nice and relaxing

We had a great time. The guide was very friendly. Kilkenny Castle was impressive- guided tour is worth it. We were only 6 people almost as a personal tour. Glendalough is a nice walk, nothing we haven’t seen but it was relaxing after the castle so we had a nice day.

I liked the small group aspect of the tour, but wasn’t really impressed with Kilkenny, which was cute and tiny but also very touristy. You were given the option to do 2 different walks around the Wicklow mountains.

Wir haben den Ausflug sehr genossen. Er war abwechslungsreich, die Orte interessant und die Landschaften wunderschön. Am meisten beeindruckt waren wir von unserer hervorragenden Reiseleiterin Gillian, von der wir nicht nur über die Sehenswürdigkeiten viel erfahren haben, sondern auch über die Archäologie und Geschichte Irlands ganz allgemein. Gerade dadurch war die Tour spannend und ein Highlight unserer Irlandreise.
