  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

A wonderful wine experience

We were a small group of around 25 people which in comparison to other wine tasting experiences seemed quite large but it worked out really well! Our host Danielle was wonderful, informative and friendly. We travelled to three wineries and they were all very different. The hosts at each of the wineries were all fantastic. We had a tour at all three and a great lunch at the middle one. We were incredibly lucky to have such a great group who made the experience absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend this experience.

The guide was very friendly and informative. The spokespeople at the wineries were very knowledgeable and interesting. The lunch was delicious as well as all the wines. Would recommend this trip. It was a full day but went by fast.

We absolutely loved our day on the “Essence Of Chianti Small Group Tour With Lunch And Tastings From Florence”!! Daniele, our tour guide, and Pino, our tour bus driver, were so excellent throughout our full day tour! Each of the wineries - Riseccoli, Casa Emma and La Filigare - were gorgeous! We learned so vey much about the history, the wine processing and the varieties of the Chianti wines through these superb visits. Thank you for such an incredible experience on our tour day - Friday, April 19, 2024 … Magnifico!!
Beautiful Day Trip in Tuscany

This was a wonderful day trip. We visited three wineries and the little town of Greve, where we had time to visit the unique little shops. The countryside was beautiful and the food and wine delicious - although they tended to serve the same things at each. We were a small group of 16 and were able to talk with different groups during the different visits. The last stop was a beautiful villa with a garden. Our tour guide, Leo, was wonderful. He also suggested restaurants in Florence that turned out to be quite good. A very enjoyable day. Highly recommend.

An incredible experience! Leo our guide and driver was phenomenal!! His sincerity, kindness, professionalism and depth of knowledge of the Chianti region was outstanding. He also is a very safe driver on challenging roads.He shared so much information while we drove and gave a layer of detail that was then reinforced at the 3 beautiful wineries we visited. An amazing day, would actually do it again!!!

We enjoyed this tour through Chianti! There was a good variety of wineries on the tour, from small organic operations to one that were a little bit bigger. Recommend this tour!
Wonderful Wine Tasting Experience

Probably one of the best wine tours we have ever experienced. Our tour guides Leo and Suzie were amazing. Leos commentary throughout the trip was insughtful, witty and funny. At the wineries the hosts were welcoming and had in-depth knowmedge of their product. No one winery outshined the other in terms of presentation. The lunch provided was welcome and tasty. Every stop provided us with some food in order to assist in absorbing the alcohol. 3 stops total with 4 tastings each. Lunch at the second stop (antipasti, primi and desert). Total group size was 22. We had to buy some of the offerings along the way they were so good. I 10000% recommend this tour you will not regret it.

Our tour guide, Leo, made this tour exceptional. Leo 'I love wine' and you can tell. This man breathes it! We visited three different wineries, all with their own unique character. It would be next to impossible to do something like this on your own, let alone driving from one winery to the next. The only sad part was not being able to enjoy the wine with him! Goditi il tuo primitivo, Leo! Grazie mille!

Jonathon, Antonio, and Tracy were great guides. We tried 12 wines from 3 wineries. Lunch was antipasto and pasta, and the views were beautiful. Must-do for wine lovers with a day to fill.

Leo was our guide and driver, very humorous and knowledgeable, he made the whole journey and experience very memorable and enjoyable. The tour was well-paced, and we had sufficient time for every venue. Thank you Leo, I had a really great time.

We were lucky and there were only 4 people on out tour and I will say Leo is probably one of the best hosts/guides/historian/wine lover that you would want to have for a trip like this. My low resting is for the itinerary. The first vineyard was great. The second one with lunch was fair at best and the 3rd it seemed the vineyard host was learning and not well experienced.

This was an excellent tour, one of the best we’ve ever taken. The wineries were great, all very well prepared with well-informed guides and great tastings. The scenery was of course incredible and the drive was not too long. Or tour guide, Leo was amazing, he took the tour to the next level. His commentary was super informative and also so friendly and personal. He was extremely good and charming at the same time. He even broke out the guitar and serenaded us with a song at the first winery. Awesome!

This was an incredible trip and one of the most memorable things we did in Italy! Our driver Leo made the trip extra special, making everything run smoothly, making sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. He was kind and funny and shared lots of interesting facts and history along the way. We enjoyed the variety of the 3 different places we went - all three had their own charm.
