What To Expect

The Fiat 500 swiftly became Italy’s favorite little car when it was first introduced near the end of the 1950s. Its retro-chic look has made early models the most desired vintage cars today in Italy, and you’ll have the chance to hit the road with one yourself.

Make your way to a private garage in Florence, where you’ll find your restored 1960s Fiat 500. Your guide will give you a safety overview and the opportunity to practice with the manual gears. The selected driver for each group must feel confident behind the wheel before you set out.

Then, you’re off! Travel with your convoy into the Tuscan hills as your guide leads the way. Hear insightful commentary about the history of the wine region as you drive along the secluded country roads.

After a scenic drive through the Chianti region, you’ll pull into the villa and wine estate, dating back to the 15th century. See the Itinerary section for details on the two activities to choose from before making the journey back to Florence.

We had an amazing afternoon driving around the Tuscany country side. We had not done an experience since landing in Italy and decided the night before to book on. We traveled from Bologna for this experience and it did not disappoint. We had an amazing time driving down the country lanes. We had a great amount of time driving and managed to stop off for some pictures with the beautiful back drop. Our tour guide knew lots about the wine and managed to try some delicious wines and food. We met 2 American couples and had a great time drinking wine and laughing. We would recommend this 100%!!

Alessandro was amazing!!! Very nice and spoke several languages! He was very patient and put us in several spots for quality pictures! We finished with quality conversation and a beautiful villa overlooking the Tuscan vineyard! Highly recommend this tour!!!

The tour over all is ok.. Driving the car itself was fun.. And I was under the impression of seeing multiple wineries but we only stopped at one and that was it.. The tour guide was cool, he had stories to share which was interesting.. The drive itself was beautiful.. To see the rolling hills of Tuscany but to stop at one winery was kind of a let down..

Great fun. My husband and I both had our own car and completely enjoyed this purely Italian experience driving these classic cars in Tuscany with exquisite views. Then dining in a Farmhouse on local sourced olive oil, cheeses and wines while chatting.

This tour is unforgettable experience! Alessandro was our guide and he was very knowledgeable of the region, relaxed, safe, and agreeable! The cars are fun and adorable and the wine, cheese, and olive oil tasting is delicious! This is an incredible way to get to see the Tuscan countryside for a great day trip! I would highly recommend this experience! (Remember to bring €15 in cash to fill up gas)

This was without a doubt one of the single BEST travel experiences I have ever had! The team were so lovely and knowledgeable, they helped teach us the cars (manual experience and confidence is still absolutely necessary!) and the rest of the group was amazing. Delicious light lunch paired with local wines that you can also purchase (we got a bottle of the Super Tuscan). The vibes are immaculate on this tour with spectacular views as you drive through the local vineyards and I will recommend this experience to anyone travelling to the region. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

Highlight of Italy!

This was a highlight of our entire Italy trip! It was such a blast to take a break from churches and museums and get out into the countryside. The Fiats were so cute and fun to drive (according to my husband who misses driving a vintage bug). Our guide, Pietro, was so funny and fabulously Italian. Lunch at the villa after our drive was excellent. More food than I was expecting, wine tasting, and grappa! Plus you get a chance to visit with and bond with new people in your group. If you're on the fence about this one, just book it. You won't be sorry!

One of the best parts of our trip in Florence. Our guide, Alessandro was personable and attentive. He shared with us how the wine in the region is made and explained what we were drinking. The cars were well tuned and fun to drive. You don’t get to really open them up but it is still fun to drive through the Tuscan countryside. Plan how you are going to get there. Our driver did not know what the 500 club was but was able to figure it out with some additional help from our Apple Maps. (We were only 25 feet away!)

A fun time in wine country! Although we didn't get to drive because it was MANUAL and we clearly didn't read that, the ride was still enjoyable with Hectore. Great chat along the way and beautiful view of the vineyards. Bella was informative on the rest of the tasting portion and we lucked out with an incredibly friendly group of other guests on our booking, lots of laughs and all around a good time.
