Well organised tour

Jakob was very organised, explaining exactly where pickup would be and when. The car was immaculate and he gave us some lovely snacks once we had gotten in. He had pre booked our tour and we went straight through crowds and into Auschwitz (shuttle included to Birkenau) for a very informative and harrowing tour.

A memorable occasion

What a day...incredibly somber, but so important to see and learn. Our guide was spectacular, and even dropped us off at the airport to let us pick up luggage that the airline lost. We would 100% go again. (Certainly sounds off saying this about such a depressing and cursed place).

A very heavy day - and one I don't...

A very heavy day - and one I don't think I was ready for, emotionally. So the guide picked us up right outside our hotel, and drove us to the Auschwitz. Along the way he explained what happened to Poland during the war and how it was broken up into 3 separate territories. He had the answer to any question we asked. He was VERY knowledgable. When we arrived, we got right to the front of the line past hundreds of people waiting , and on our way in where we were passed off to the official Auschwitz guide inside. She was wonderful, too. The tour was actually in two parts: the tour of Auschwitz - then the second part at the Birkenau camp a short distance away. Our guide waited patiently outside. Was standing by the car for us in between the two and immediately afterwards, ready to attend to any needs we might have. At the end of the day, the slow ride back to Kraków. There is a LOT of walking on this tour. The roads in the camp are difficult to navigate if you're with someone who is older, and nearly impossible for someone in a wheel chair. Two bits of advise: spend more time in the rooms with the pictures of the victims on the wall at Auschwitz - this tour is all about the memory of those lost - and I wish I took more time then, to learn about them. Second, do not get a hot dog at the snack shop in between tours.

Chauffeur très sympathique et attentionné. Bonne organisation à l'arrivée. Billet coupe-file (il y avait une longue file d'attente à la caisse). C'est une visite à faire au moins une fois dans sa vie. La guide parlait un français parfait et ses explications étaient vraiment intéressantes.
