  • TRANSPORT: For transportation, we use minibuses and minivans. If you have motion sickness or any other issues related to traveling by car, please inform us in advance. The travel time depends on the weather and road conditions, so it may be extended.
  • VISIT: The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum attracts numerous visitors daily. Exploring at your own pace may not be feasible due to the high volume of visitors. It is essential to maintain appropriate and respectful behavior while in the camps. The dress code is smart casual, reflecting the solemnity of the site. Activities such as eating, smoking, and loud behavior are strictly prohibited within the Museum premises.
  • PICKUP: A few hotels in Krakow are situated in traffic-restricted areas. Your pickup will be arranged from the nearest accessible point, and you will receive notification.
  • DEPARTURE: Due to the museum's policy, capacity limits within the buildings, and the high number of visitors, the pickup time may be subject to change. We kindly ask for your understanding and suggest avoiding planning other activities on the day, as rescheduling might pose a challenge. We understand that our clients want to explore our city as much as possible, and we strive to provide advance notice regarding the pickup time frame. Typically, around 3-7 days before your visit, we will reach out to everyone, allowing you to plan your day accordingly.
  • DOCUMENTS: As it is obligatory at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum to confirm your personal details, you must provide the full names of all participants when making a reservation. Additionally, please ensure to carry your passport or ID with you, as it may be checked at the museum entrance. Failure to do so may result in denial of entry to the museum.
  • BAG SIZE: Please be aware that entry to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum is not allowed with large bags or backpacks. The maximum permissible size is 30cm x 20cm x 10cm. You can securely leave your bags in your car, which will be locked during your visit.
  • LUNCH: Lunch is not included in the tour package. There isn't ample time for a regular lunch break between visits to Auschwitz (1st camp) and Birkenau (2nd camp), so it's advisable to bring along a snack or some food to stave off hunger. However, if you prefer a more substantial meal, you can opt to order lunch boxes through us for an additional fee. We'll send you the offer the day before the excursion. Please note that at the parking lot, only vending machines with snacks are available, as the restaurant is currently under construction.
  • SECURITY: Please be prepared to undergo a security check, similar to airport procedures, before entering the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
  • WEATHER: Our operations run regardless of weather conditions. You will spend up to 70% of your time outdoors, particularly at Auschwitz II-Birkenau. Therefore, we advise you to dress accordingly for the weather and bring water, especially on sunny days.
  • CHILDREN: Children must be accompanied by an adult, and infant seats are available for younger children. Due to the potentially traumatic nature of the visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, we recommend that visitors be at least 13 years old.
  • PICTURES: Visitors are generally permitted to take photographs, with a few exceptions clearly indicated. However, taking photos inside buildings using flash is strictly prohibited.
  • CONTACT: We confirm all tours via messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Viber, Signal, and Telegram. According to us and our clients, this is the most convenient form of communication. If you don't use any of them, don't worry, we'll send you an email. Emails are sent through the system, so please also check your spam folder to ensure you don't miss our message.
  • GROUP: The group is of the standard size recommended by the museum, typically ranging between 16 and 30 people.

The only way to visit Auschwitz

The transfer was timely, efficient and effective. Driver, Konrad, was polite, clear, informative and managed the trip well. The guide was was educational, informative and passionate about the events of Auschwitz/Birkenau. He gave food for thought and challenged what I thought I knew, always with respect and compassion. Cannot recommend this trip enough, a guided tour is the only way and these guys did it the best.
A must-do experience done extremely well

A very well organised and managed experience. Note that requested timings are subject to tour guide availability at the site (behind the control of the company), resulting in a late pickup (1.40pm) and drop-off (8.30pm). This made for a longer day than ideal. However, everything was very well communicated in advance and ran very smoothly. Michael, the driver, was excellent and the tour guide very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and our experience of it. Highly recommended.

The tour was done sensitively and with respect for what happened. Bridget was a fabulous tour guide whose knowledge was great. She delivered the tour with great sensitivity and avoided giving her opinion on issues. Very thoughtful. Lunch was great and our driver lovely.

Great communication eith Bartok from start to finish. Our driver, Konrad, was lovely as was the guide Bridget. We opted for the packed lunch option, which was great value. If you want to see Auschwitz, this is the company to organise it for you.

Well organised trip and looked after by our guides. Plenty of toilet opportunities (which was very welcomed as I’m pregnant and was worried about toilet opportunities!) Konrad our driver was very friendly and polite and picked us up right on time. Communication before the trip brilliant and our guide was great we all had headphones to make sure everyone in the group could here. She was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. There are vending machines to get basic snacks and drinks so maybe take your own or order a lunch box before. A very moving and thought provoking experience a must if you have the opportunity.

Me and my husband had a brilliant day out, the driver picked us up bang on time was very accommodating the tour company we went through were very officiant and messaged is at all times with updates etc, they also provided lunch for a very small fee definitely worth it! Would recommend for anyone to do this be prepared for a lot of walking but a must if you are visiting krakow thank you 😊

Good communication with the team. Texted us a pick up time the night before. The tour was an eye opening, the guide explained in detail but didn’t take to long at each section, the gas chambers I will never forget! This is something everybody needs to visit once. Sobering Experience

Pick up was on time from my hotel as arranged and our driver was Konrad for the day who was very good in explaining the everything and the timings. He also gave me the option of getting dropped off somewhere else after the tour. The tour guide was very informative and passionate definitely very knowledgeable. Communication from the company was excellent letting me know time of pick up and the name of the driver. The only thing that I didn’t like was it felt the tour was just rushed a bit especially through Auschwitz as there was so many other tour groups there. I felt like the tour could have been slowed down to take it all in better, but this might be unavoidable due the amount of tours all visiting at once.

A very worthwhile tour. Our driver Conrad was a superb host/driver, was on time, polite and friendly. For the tour itself we had a lady called Malgorzata who was very knowledgable. It was of course a sobre day, but an important visit. We visited with our 16/yo and 11/yo boys as felt it was good for them to understand how vast these camps were and to get perspective on just how fortunate they are, both were engaged throughout the trip and learnt lots.

You must do this tour if you are in Krakow. Austwicz & Birkenau are places of sadness where unthinkable atrocities were carried out. However, it is so important that we remember and pay respect to those who perished in these places. The tour was perfect. Our host, Bartek, was extremely helpful from the point of pick up at our hotel. His car was very clean & comfortable for the 1.5 hour journey. The guide at the camps, Marcin, was very knowledgeable and informative. Yes, this is a somber place but please visit to pay your respects.
