Overview

In 1943, the former concentration camp of Płaszów began to receive thousands of Jews from the Krakow Ghetto. Life there was profiled in the movie, Schindler's List (1993). Today, it is a near forgotten nature preserve that holds a memorial for the victims. We'll talk about its history as well as that of Krakow during the Holocaust with visits to Płaszów, the movie location (a camp replica in a nearby quarry) and the Kraków's Fragment of the Ghetto Wall.

Ottima visita guidata. La nostra guida Olga è stata bravissima, molto preparata e molto gentile aiutandoci anche a fare i biglietti del tram. Il fatto di essere solo in tre ha reso la visita molto bella. Super consigliata.

Nuestra experiencia fue muy satisfactoria con nuestra guía, una joven muy conocedora de este campo donde nos explicó al detalle desde principio a fin. Aconsejo visitar este campo donde a pesar de su historia hoy es un bonito jardín donde pasear y rendir homenaje a las víctimas.
