One of the best tours I have taken anywhere. Period. Tomasz was an amazing host. I lucked out that I was the only one that day so got a 1:1 lesson. The snacks were amazing. And the whole class was well structured. Hands on and also instructional. I felt welcome as a guest in tomasz’s house. The pierogi we made were delicious and I can’t wait to try the recipe on my own. Do this tour without hesitation.

Great fun shopping and cooking!
Stanley_W, Aug 2023
The market was a bustling hive of activity with colorful bins of colorful produce, wild blueberries, strawberries and wild mushrooms just gathered from the forest. Hanna was an expert guide in the market. But was an even better cooking teacher. We kneaded the dough and rolled it thin and filled the dough to form the pierogis ourselves. The boiled pierogies were delicious and so was the cold beer, Polish pickes and smoked cheese. We had so much fun, the outing was like being at at a dinner party with dear friends. As a note, don’t expect the cute hats and red aprons shown in the photo. They were not a part of our event but we did not feel we missed anything at all.

Highlight of Our Trip!
Sakinah_I, Jul 2023
This was just wonderful! Our hostess was lovely and kind. Alicja was most gracious sharing her family recipe for perogi. It was a hands-on experience and extremely worthwhile. We loved going to the marketplace with the local sellers. It was fantastic. This tour was really the highlight of our trip to Krakow. Can't wait to make them when we get back home and have delicious pierogies with wonderful memories!

Best Tour By Far!!!
Todd_R, Jul 2023
This was hands down my favorite tour in our entire two week trip. It was amazing! Alicja was a fantastic tour guide. It was a private tour with my husband and I. Alicja picked us up at our hotel and we walked to the local market to shop for supplies. She walked us through the different types of food and what they are used for. She was very informative. We headed to hers outside of krakow and began our cooking class. We had an absolute blast. It was very special for the two of us and felt very romantic. Alicja also taught us a ton of history about krakow and recommended some great places to go around town. She also took great photos of us she shared! 10/10 would recommend this tour to anyone looking to spend quality time learning how to cook a classic polish dish!

I had a lovely time with Alicja going to the market and to her home to make periogi! We got to chat about daily life in Poland and she helped me locate a place to purchase good quality pottery for a friend. I would highly recommend this experience anyone who wants to have a glimpse of Polish life as well as learn about food and culture.

One of our Favorite Krakow Things!
Chelsea_P, Apr 2023
What an amazing day! Thomas* was such a spectacular host. He was friendly, personable, just made the experience great. We were invited into his home where he taught us his grandmother's recipe. It was so much fun and was one of my favorite things that we got to do in Poland! I can NOT wait to receive the recipe over email so I can cook these pierogis again now that I am home. I think we are going to start a new family tradition with cooking them! DO THIS TOUR! I can NOT say it enough! Thomas- if you could please email me the recipe, I would appreciate it! :)

Local yoga teacher also shares how to make pi
Robert_B, Apr 2023
This class was enjoyable and light hearted. The best part was actually the market where we bought all of the ingredients for the pierogies; authentic Polish farmers market which was very cool. The actual class was taught by a very sweet and kind local who learned from her mother and grandmother…she is not a trained chef. Her kitchen is not a “chef’s kitchen”. And it is quite a ways out of the city center. But the taxis are included in the total fees. Overall, a fun time.
Response from Host, May 2023
Hi Robert How are you? Thank you for your review. The idea of this experience is to show the local life and environment and to be out of the beaten track, not to be in professional chef's kitchen :-) We underline it in our description. All the best from Krakow, Monika and Tomasz
Delightful and authentic

Become a Pierogi Making Machine while learning about Polish Culture. Not to be missed!
Kelly_M, Feb 2023
One of my favorite ways to experience a new city is by taking a cooking class. This Pierogi class with Tomasz was a top class. One of the things that stands out is that he first brought us to a historical market where he taught us the words for the ingredients that we would be using and had us ask the market sellers for the foods! It was a great way to be immersed in the culture. After a short ride to his home, Tomasz was super friendly, giving us many tips and encouragement along the way as we made the pierogi. The snacks, beer, and of course the pierogi were delicious. I highly recommend this experience!

Pierogie Cooking class was a blast
Laura_M, Jan 2023
We booked a Pierogi Cooking class for seven people, which in itself must be a very difficult task to organise properly. But our guide, Thomaschz, organised everything extremely well. He picked us up from our apartment and gave us a quick tour of Krakow. Moreover, he even taught us some basic polish, so we could order ingredients in polish at a local market. The experience was awesome. Later on he invited us to his house and we started to prepare Pierogi. He explained everything thoroughly and provided us with traditional and local snacks and beers throughout the evening. Finally, we got to taste the Pierogi and they tasted heavenly. All of us enjoyed the experience and I will definitely make Pierogi again. Thank you Thomaschz, it was a blast!
Response from Host, Jan 2023
Dear Laura Thank you very much for booking our tour and for such a great opinion. I will send it to Tomasz, he would be more than happy. All the best from Krakow, Monika
Pierogi making in Krakow is a must-do experience.
Marilyn_C, Dec 2022
After meeting us at our hotel, we proceeded to the local market where all the fresh ingredients were purchased for pierogi making. We loved Paula's warm hospitality and allowing us to enter her home. The pierogis were delicious and so much fun to make, and Paula made the process seem so easy. It was a memorable and delicious experience. We were total strangers but felt like friends by the time we left.
Response from Host, Jan 2023
Dear Marilyn. How are you? Thank you very much for being on our tour and for leaving your opinion. We really appreciate. All the best from Krakow, Monika
Making Pierogis with Paula
martha_m, Dec 2022
From the moment Paula picked us up at our hotel until we returned we had an amazing learning adventure! The market was precious and Paula even tried to teach us a few key phrases to ask for items at the market! We walked to her apartment and got right to work making pierogis! What a memorable experience!
A true Polish experience
Natalie_K, Nov 2022
We had a wonderful time with Tomasz and this pierogi making experience was the highlight of our trip to Poland. He did a great job of communicating with us. First, he met us in front of our hotel and we visited the farmers market. Then he drove us to his home and shared about his culture and family life. We learned his grandmothers special pierogi recipe and he made sure that our group of four participated in each step of the process. It was wonderful being in a true Polish home, enjoying snacks and beers while sharing stories and meeting his family. Of course we were able to enjoy our pierogis at the end of the experience and then he took us back to our hotel. We highly recommend this experience. Thank you, Tomasz!
More than just a Pierogi Class...
Paige_K, Oct 2022
Alicja was our Pierogi Instructor for the day. She was absolutely amazing! She took us shopping at a local market and taught us some polish. Next we headed back to her kitchen. Alicja put us to work (with a piwa, of course) and taught us all about the art of Pierogi making and Polish culture. Not only did we have a blast cooking but had wonderful conversations too. We left not only learning how to make Pierogi but with a new friend. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS CLASS :)
Response from Host, Nov 2022
Dear Paige Thank you very much for booking our tour and for such a great opinion. I will send it to Alicia, she would be more than happy. All the best from Krakow, Monika
