Michael and Jim were amazing guides! They were very informative, and entertaining! The bus ride was long, and they were very conscious of providing "stretch" time. I would have loved being at Santa Monica Beach longer (not enough time in the day). They pointed out many movie sites, which was a lot of fun to see in person. It was a long ride, however the scenery was amazing and Mike and Jim did a great job with educating us about the areas. Definitely worth the price.

Best tour to Cali !!

It was a long trip to California, but it was fun. The scenic view, the stops at the Santa Monica Pier and of course the Hollywood walk of fame were the best. Our driver Marcus was so nice, and always making sure if we need anything else(food, snacks, water).

Good tour , bad transportation

The only reason I’m even giving this tour a 2 star is because the driver was so nice. The transportation was junk and uncomfortable. The site claims that it would be luxurious transportation with reclining seats and usb ports to charge your phone. In fact the seating was hard rubber seating and less comfortable than an airplane seat. It was so uncomfortable that by the time it was over it felt like I had been through a boxing match and lost. The driver didn’t even have a place to charge his phone. Also as the picture shows the roof of the vehicle leaked, also leaked around the windows. We actually saw another tour bus from Vegas while we were in Las Angeles and was able to see the inside of their vehicle and the seats were actually cloth upholstered and looked very comfortable. Again the driver was very friendly and we had no issues with him. There were plenty of stops for restroom breaks and he was quite informative and friendly throughout the day. If you’re looking for comfort and don’t want to hurt for days afterwards I’d skip this tour if you’re ok with paying $250 to being beaten for 16 hours just to go to California the this is the tour for you.

Hi Greg, So sorry you didn't have fun on your tour. Let me address your concerns. Our transportation on that tour was one of our Luxury Mercedes Sprinters which does have reclining seats. I'm puzzled as to why you didn't think so. Second, we don't advertise phone chargers and the driver does have power at his location. Third, the seats aren't rubber they are the best vinyl Mercedes makes. Fourth, yes the air conditioning seal let go and with the rain allowed some dripping inside the vehicle, this is one of the few faults with the Sprinter. They fix it and it only last so long and we unfortunately find out on a tour. Sorry about that. Fifth, you can't use cloth for tour seating, people sweat in it, spill drinks in it and drop food on the seats. They end up stained, dirty and a place for germs to grow even if you shampoo on a regular basis. In todays germ concious world it's a definite no go. Sixth, the Sprinters ride like a dream. Question, how big are you and do you have any back problems? Regardless, please come back we'll do something special for you. Very best regards, Will & Donna Tryon - Owners

Overall the trip was nice. I would do it again. However I would prefer drivers that knows history a few important facts movies or ANYTHING related to BLACK HISTORY So that all races all kind can be represented during the tour The entire tour information included almost every race EXCEPT BLACK One of the drivers was a jerk and cussed too much it was NOT MIKE he was nice and professional but still didn’t know any black history

Good but not great

It was a good tour but not great. The van ride would have been more comfortable if there had been blinds on the windows. The sun rays were intense. Jackie at booking was great but the driver, Marcus, while knowledgeable, was not that “warm and fuzzy”. We asked for another paper itinerary but was denied. Petty considering how much we paid for the tour. Too long of a stop at Santa Monica Pier and the pit stops were too long and too many. We would have liked to have seen the studios - eg universal and gotten closer to Hollywood sign if possible. The lunch and snacks were good. Plenty of water available and offered.

Hi Karyn, Thank you for your review. Let me address your concerns; first, blinds on the windows would interupt the fabulous views of the Mohave Desert. Marcus is a tall handsome young man and an intallectual, delivering information is what he's supposed to do. Being overly friendly could be misconstrued. We only send out as many info packets as there are bookings, we are mailing you another copy. If we did tour Universal Studios we'd be returning after midnight, its not part of our tour. That's a tour you take when you are staying in LA for the night. Regarding the Hollywood sign, tour vehicles are cited if they enter that neighborhood and it's been that way for a decade, so we get a great view from the Kodak Patio. Rest stops are very important for some customers. And Santa Monica Beach and Hollywood Blvd are the highlight stops on this tour so we want you to have as much time as possible at those locations and be happy. Glad you enjoyed the lunch and snacks. Adventure Tours Hollywood Trip

We travelled to Vegas from England not knowing much about the competition there actually is for the trips once you are out there. We had booked this prior to travelling. So glad we used adventure photo tours. The guys were great and extremely knowledgeable about the areas we visited. Had a delicious lunch with the rest of the group, everyone was really friendly. If we had been staying longer we would have booked another trip. Really enjoyed it. Also, even though it was a long drive from Las Vegas to Santa Monica, Hollywood etc there are lots of bathroom break stop offs and the drive is very enjoyable with amazing views and they don't mind you having snacks in the van. Would reccommend to anyone. Thank you Jim and Michael we hope to return to vegas and see you again next year.

Trip to LA

We had an awesome expierence!! Jim & Micheal made it very entertaining & they are very funny! They also provide already charged up charging blocks for most phones to use on your trip so your phone doesn’t die. They provided a quick breakfast to eat along the way, snacks, and subway sandwich packs. My only thing I would say is that the vehicle we took could use some little baskets or something for storage w a place to hang ur backpack or purse, otherwise we very much enjoyed it & would use them again!

Excellent tour, comfortable bus and perfect snacks and lunch. Clayton was an amazing and unique guide and made the time between stops engaging and entertaining. His infectious laugh was worth the tour price alone. Clayton went out of his way to show us additional sights and the Nancy House from a Nightmare on Elm Street was beyond special.

Houses in the Hill

Seeing the Hollywood strip and rodeo drive even thou Hollywood and rodeo drive is well overrated. The houses in the hill were nothing especially if you live in a state that has mountains you might be better off seeing other states with mountains views with houses also as Hollywood wood say, houses in the hill, a lot cheaper.

It was a awesome trip and the tour guides were magnificent not only explaining everything but when I needed a emergency stop to go to the restroom they did not hesitate and stop quickly I really appreciated they were on point with breakfast lunch and snack and making sure you were hydrated.

Disappointing

Our drivers lacked a lot. Their names were art and Michael. One was very old and could not get his speaker to work. The other was very knowledgeable about the dessert, but had very little to tell us about Hollywood. They brought us sack lunches from subway that stayed in the van for hours. You advertised a hot meal. They just dropped us off in Hollywood, you would have thought one of them would have went with us to guide us. We had to take a picture of the Beverly Hills sign out the window as we drove by. No history, etc. given about Beverly Hills, like what stars live there, etc. They picked us up at 5:15 am and returned us at 9:00. Most of that time was spent in the van. It was a very disappointing trip as far as Las Angeles. There were only two stops there. One at the Pier, then dropped us off on our own at the walk of fame. Trip through dessert ok.
