Disappointing... Did not see the Tropical Gardens or Rainforest

The Turtles were interesting to see, the tropical plantation and rainforest were closed and so we did not see them

Hi, thank you for the review of the tropical plantation tour. Since the tropical plantation is not open on a Monday, we purchased an extra entrance ticket to the Iao Valley tropical rainforest and gardens. This was open.This was was not included on the original ticket but was added to make up for the tropical plantation that was closed. The others were very happy to get more than they had expected. Sorry that when we went to the Heritage gardens, a rainforest walk inside the Iao valley that you may have not noticed, it was an amazing rainforest environment and view. Mahalos for the time you took to make this review and I hope your ship tours all the islands with joy. Aloha

The Iao Valley was amazing! We really appreciated all the hospitality (pick up from our condo, stopping to allow us to get some food at the end). It was great to see the island, learn so much history and culture.

Maui Island Tour

The staff was nice & helpful. The limo was older. The first stop I would have liked a longer stay to enjoy the area better. The second stop at the Gardens was under construction & not as nice as it will be in the future when finished. The third stop was the Bailey museum which was interesting but I feel we spent too much time here. The final stop was the golf course which was a great picture stop. The tour was ok but not outstanding. We had “free” drinks but ran out of ice, cold sodas, water & paper cups. We had 8 passengers which was 1 too many & those in the middle seat were crowded. This wasn’t a horrible tour but I have been on better. Since this was our only visit to this island I really have nothing to compare it to. Maybe the tour was not what we were originally expecting.

Thank you for reviewing our tour, It has been a success for over 15 years. The limousine that we use is a LincolnTowncar that uses the famed perfect towncar body and that's why we use them with tours instead of only using them for shuttles to and from airports. mechanically there are the best and the largest interior wise for tours compared to the newer ones which of course cost more when you're riding them. Each location has been specifically chosen to give you the best education of the island an entertainment as well. The company keeps as much soda ice supplies and a little bit of alcohol to keep everybody happy and will strive to keep even more available for those hot days. The company is thinking of having smaller vehicles such as 6 passenger vehicles and of course keeping luxury as a number one choice such as Navigators and maybe even Aviators. I'll try to keep everybody a first class seat and inform the person who sitting in the middle that it's going to be a middle seat choice. Sorry for the smaller seat. This tour compared to vans that carry 15 to 25 passengers. this also compares to buses that carry up to 45 passengers and possibly more. the original idea was to give people more comfort than any of those vehicles and complimentary drinks which I'm not finding in any of the companies such as a limousine offers. This review will do more then expected it will change everything to make sure that everybody's ride is perfect. This review and more of course. Again I thank you for the review and I'll strive to make this the best tour available when you get off of your ship or visit on Maui. Mahalo

Not a bad value, but set you expectations

Operator emailed RE our 8:30am tour To say they’d Arrive at 8:15. We phoned at 825 & told we weren’t meant to arrive until 830 and he wouldn’t be there for 20 minutes. He showed at 8:50 and we waited until 9:30 for him to hustle other people to fill the limo. Driver was “OK”, but lacked polish and didn't provide much narration on the way to stops. Umbrellas we were offered were in poor condition or broken. He was a nice & polite tho. Bonus - rum, vodka, sodas at our disposal in limo. Glad not to be on bus w/50 other peeps, but just know what you’re getting into and don’t be tight on schedule.

Thank you for the review it's always nice to hear from clients. This is one of the first ships of the season and yes , umbrellas have been used and will be replaced immediately and have already been as of today for the season and the timing, I would like it better, it seems that tenders come off exactly when they want to come off so I set my time about 8:15. We try to get everybody out within 30 to 40 minutes of that time. I will improve everything that needs to be to make it an excellent trip for everybody.
