Pickup is available ONLY at our meeting points: -Condesa DF hotel located at Avenida Veracruz 102 Colonia Condesa -De La Republica Avenue 154, Tabacalera, 06030. Near to Monumento a la Revolucion, behind Barceló Reforma hotel, in front of ISSSTE building/ -Inside the lobby of Presidente Polanco hotel at Campos Eliseos -Royal reforma hotel -Zocalo central hotel. Customers must call to confirm the exact pick-up time, because it's prior the activity starts from 15 to 60 minutes before.

What To Expect

Spend an exciting evening in Mexico City watching an authentic Mexican wrestling match in a crowd of local fans. After convenient hotel pickup in Mexico City, travel to the arena for the match. Kick off the festivities and then settle into your seat for the entertainment ahead.

The lights blaze on and the spectators roar with anticipation, as each masked fighter, or luchador, jumps into the ring. Join in the cheer for the técnicos—Mexican comic-book superheroes, warriors or saints representing the plight of farmers and workers—as they tackle with jaw-dropping agility around the rudos (Mexican villains). Be dazzled as they spin and catapult inside the ring with the help of ropes.

When the match ends and your throat is hoarse from all the cheering, enjoy transport back to your hotel. Take home your very own lucha libre wrestling mask, a perfect ornament to hang on the wall back home.

We had a great time, the show was super entertaining. My only issue was that me and my girlfriends seats were not next to each other. We didn't know our seat numbers until we arrived at the arena. If you book as a couple, make sure to ask for your seats to be together, which would seem obvious. Great show either way, you'll have a great time.

Not worth the price

The experience itself was great but don’t bother booking through a tour provider. The tickets had a face value of about £25 pounds (500pesos) we paid almost 3x the price and we got a trip in a battered minivan (we could have walked quicker) and a badly made mask. You can buy your tickets through your hotel or even at the door of the arena. The masks in the stalls along the road to the arena are way better too. Felt really ripped off but the actual luchre libre is well worth seeing.

**Don't book the event with this organizer** Lucha libre itself is a fun event. But the event organizers basically charge the customers way too much for the service. They charged me $65 usd for an event which just cost 175 pesos. All they provide is a drop and pick up service, for which the amount they charge us doesn't make sense. I'd recommending getting the tickets on Ticketmaster and using uber for transport instead of using these services.

It seems that unfortunately, the problem was the lack of information by our driver, because the pick up schedule is programed so early in order to allowed to our clients a reasonable amount of time in case they would like to stop by to have a snack outdoors the Arena Mexico, or maybe to take a look at the souvenirs, and also go to the toilets and look for their seats inside the Aren Mexico with all their might before the show starts. I also would like to add an important advertise that the quality of our service lies in the confidence and security of traveling in our units. It seems that unfortunately, the problem was inside the Arena Mexico organization for the show, because due to the timing of your purchase and the availability of the event, your tickets had to be virtual, but they are as valid as physical ones. We are sure that every Lucha libre show is amazing but sometimes the people in charge of the assistance at the Arena aren´t very helpful, we will check with them how we can solve these situations of the last minute purchases.

Our guide was lovely - friendly, helpful! But we were only 40mins away by taxi to the venue so a 2hr drive plus a very long walk to the pick up was less than ideal. We would book just wrestling tickets from the official site next time.

Thrills and spills at Lucha Libre

Rafael and Eduardo, were the perfect hosts, picking us up time, to the venue on time and getting us back to our hotel. Given Mexico City’s traffic that was an amazing feat. Lucha Libre has it all. Good guys, bad guys, love hate. It’s amazing athletic theatre and so much fun. Highly recommended

A cultural experience

The entire experience was great! You can buy souvenirs outside the arena; snacks are available inside. There were a number of matches, with the most renowned wrestlers at the end. The crowd is really into it, which adds to the experience. Our driver Jonathan was fantastic! He took us to our hotel at the end.

Do not use viator, book direct

Do not use viator for lucha libre. If you’re staying in Roma Norte, condesa, or polanco just buy tickets directly through lucha libre / arena Mexico and it’s way cheaper. Additionally, the “bus ride” was an hour for what would have been 10 minutes in an Uber (and 2-3X cheaper) and they arrived quite late. Lucha libre is quite fun but if I had researched this for an additional 10 minutes I would have done it differently. I don’t know the name of the built-in bar at lucha libre but that area looked quite fun.

Do Not Miss This Experience!

Raphael was the best! He was right on time for both the initial meet up location and after the event (even in a huge crowd of people/cars). He was very polite and had a great attitude. He had a nice sense of humor and was a good sport as he guided us to the arena and to a great taco spot popular with locals. He drove us promptly and safely the entire time and had some great recommendations for us regarding night life. All around, Raphael was very professional. The wrestling matches themselves were insanely fun. There were tons of people there, including families, people on dates, and groups of friends. The entire arena was amped up and everyone had fun. Lots of cool snacks to buy (nachos, popcorn, sopes, etc.) and their Micheladas were on point. I haven't been interested in wrestling since I was a kid, but when I got to this event, I was cheering and yelling like crazy. They always throw in some drama and acting like a soap opera. It was the greatest. It's pretty close to town too so it won't occupy your entire night. We went out afterwards. This is a great way to experience the culture in CDMX and hang out with locals in a different way. Mistico! Mistico!
