Just okay but not worth the price

Although CDMX itself was amazing and this tour covered all the essentials you should go see - was not a fan of the tour guide. Poor decisions such as choosing a restaurant for tacos that required being stuck in a car during rush hour traffic was not appreciated, especially when I was hungry. We could have just chosen a street vendor at one of the tour stops but I didn't want to be rude in suggesting that. Did not follow instructions when I chose a bakery as my pickup instead of hotel - which caused additional delays at the beginning. Kept quizzing me about history at almost every stop despite me telling him I wasn't much of a history person and would appreciate him just explaining vs making me feel stupid at every count. Definitely not worth the price for such lack of professionalism and perfectionism - I've travelled to 26 countries and 13 of those solo, and had way better tours for a small fraction of this price.

Wonderful tour with Aztec guides. Jose Luis gave us a wonderful private tour of Mexico city starting from the ancient Mexica capital of Tenochtitlan and the templo mayor museum in the center of Mexico city and going to the palace of fine arts, the anthropology museum, and Chapultepec castle among others. The guide provided us with stories, folklore, and history and helped me appreciate Mexico city so much more than i would have had i visited on my own. Highly recommend, don't forget to tip!

Communication was great, we were kept up to date with pickup coordination. Very spacious vehicle for 6 of us. Jorge (guide) was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of insights into the museum exhibits. Lots of walking (more than we thought) and could not cover all the places as much as we would have liked due to lack of time. Overall a great experience

Beautiful city! Tlilal, our tour guide, was so awesome. She shared so much knowledge of the city, culture, and history. Her English was perfecto! Good thing because our Español es not so bueno. I recommend this tour 100% but be aware that there is a lot of walking. By the end of the day my fitness tracker said we trekked 7 miles (11 km). We stopped for an excellent lunch at El Cardenal near the Cathedral and we even stopped at Pasteleria Ideal for some afternoon desserts.

Our guide, Jorge, was extremely well-versed in the culture and history of Mexico!!

Jorge, a retired anthropology and ethnology professor was a great tour guide. He is an expert and was even part of the team who worked to rearrange the Anthropology Museum and is intimately familiar with every exhibit. He was warm and engaging and we will 100% seek HIM out again for future tours in Mexico City.

Jorge and Gabriel ( the driver ) showed up right on time. Jorge’s prior experience in teaching shows in his demeanor. His tour was entertaining and informative. Even though it was an all day affair we didn’t get tired of Jorge because there was a perfect balance between the time we spent together and our free time to explore on our own and take pictures.

Very interesting tour! Our tour guide Jorge was funny, down-to-earth, very learned and able to explain artifacts and history in detail and in practical sense. We enjoyed Jorge’s company and our driver Hector was very accommodating and helpful too. They both recommended some of the best Mexican food in the city. They’re both entertaining! Love it! Jorge provided impeccable service to us during our day together. As soon as I made the booking, Jorge reached out via What'sApp to firm up the details and get a sense of our priorities. He offered to make reservations for us, sent over some suggestions for other parts of our trip and then provided details for our pick up. Jorge was right on time for the pick up. We were able to do an incredible amount in one day -- from the Anthropology museum, viewing Diego Rivera's most famous murals, to the ruins in the city. Since we didn't have time to fit in the castle, he offered to take us the castle on another day for free. So we met him there on Sunday (and of course provided a tip). He was over the top nice, accommodating and fun. Great job, Jorge!
