Not worth it
michael_w, Apr 2024
Many of the audio equipment were not working Very minimal information during tour Traffic very bad so the tour was very slow Not worth it
You'll see but likely not hear the narrative
Gary_S, Mar 2024
You will see everything and that's the good part. The bad part is that on 3 different busses the audio was useless. Either my headphones couldn't plug in, or the loudspeakers simultaneously blared both Spanish and English narrations or there was only Spanish narration. I really wanted to learn something about the culture and the city but the busses were useless for that. I'd recommend to spend a little more and have a private guide drive you around and explain what you are seeing.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Dear Gary_S Thank you for sharing this review, I am glad to learn that you were not entirely satisfied with México City Tour, Regarding the audio service, we regret that you could not enjoy it completely. Although our buses are frequently exanimated to make sure that all of the features are working properly, unfortunately, this kind of issue may appear during the day. Anyway, we are going to report this issue to try to avoid that this situation is not repeated in the future. Sincerely,
Easy way to get to know parts of city
Virginia_O, Mar 2024
This an easy way to see the city to identify areas you want to visit and spend more time at. ……………….
Fun with Turibus
Viorika_A, Mar 2024
A must in Mexico City, pleasant and very professional! Very well explained but only in spanish. Highly recommended !
Only get one day, go early, and find the meeting point prior.
Pat_G, Mar 2024
It was very frustrating from the get go. DONT GET THE 2 DAY PASS UNLESS YOU'RE PLANNING TO GO 2 DAYS IN A ROW! They don't say that in their ad. Also, no info on their meeting points after you purchase. They had to send me something only after I asked. Couldn't find the info on the viator app. I would recommend the historic downtown route. And go first thing in the morning because mid day it gets really hot on the top of the bus. The southern route was bad. To connect to the other bus I waited 45 min bc the bus was late. Here I was never been to Mexico city and I'm waiting alone hoping I was at the right place. The drive was worse. The driver didn't speak English and I think he got lost. It took 3 hrs in the hot sun and by the end everyone left the top except for me and another couple. I was so drained I decided not to take another route and said I would squeeze in the route for the next day which I had to alter my itinerary bc no one said I had to take 2 consecutive days. Unfortunately, THEY CLOSED THE ROUTE DUE TO SOME RALLY. I understand there are changes, but no one informed me of that the day prior. So I missed out on the second day. No refund or apology or notification. My suggestion l, go on a one day and go in the early morning or evening. It was a poor experience.
Response from Host, Mar 2024
Dear Pat_G Thank you for taking the time to write this review, I regret to learn that you were not satisfied with Mexico City Tour, Please note that all agencies are informed about the routes, frequencies and the 2 days being consecutives, While we try to the best of our ability to comply with the specified timings, please notice that those can be affected for reasons beyond our control (such as traffic jams, events taking place in the city, etc.). Sincerely,
Worst Experience
Xiomara, Feb 2024
Maps are not clear at all, no street names to find locations making them hard to find, if your lucky to see them. You loose time with horrible traffic as well. Definitely the worst experience in Mexico City!
Response from Host, Mar 2024
Dear Xiomara, Thank you for sharing your experience, I regret to learn that Mexico City Tour didn't live up to your expectations, Kindly take note that we try to the best of our ability that the buses comply with the specified timings, please note that those can be affected for reasons beyond our control (such as traffic jams, demonstrations, events taking place in the city, etc.). Sincerely,
The tour is fine....
Alejandrina_P, Feb 2024
The tour is fine. Although the time of pickup takes longer than expected. Takes over 30 to start the tour. One thing I had an issue with is that at the pick up point, the person checking on the tickets was asking to see a QR code, I showed him the ticket and explained that I only got the bar code from the ticket. I missed two buses to start the tour until he figure a way to check if my ticket was valid or not. Either they are not well trained or the system is not updated by not providing QR codes for confirmation.
Good experience highly recommend
Brenda_F, Feb 2024
Good way to see the city. Felt very safe and we learned a lot about the city allowing us to get off the bus on points that we wanted to see.
Overview
Alan_G, Feb 2024
Mexico City is cosmopolitan and beautiful. A tour bus is a reason price to get a great overview. Down side is lack of route maps so you can tell where you are going. Also audio is limited
Response from Host, Feb 2024
Dear Alan_G, Thank you for sharing this review, I am glad to learn that you enjoyed Mexico City tour even though you were not entirely satisfied with the map and audioguide, We appeciate our customer's commentaries as it is a great asset to improve our service, Best regards,
Scammers who steal people’s money
Immacula_D, Feb 2024
You guys are a fraud. You stole my money, knowing that I was not going to get on the bus with my ticket. You are the worst possible scam that I have ever met in my life. I hate you people with a passion and I will go online and talk about what you guys do to rip off people.
Response from Host, Feb 2024
Dear Immacula_D, I regret you were not satisfied with our service, unfortunately without more information about your experience, we can not address the issue you supposedly had with our company, Please do not hesitate to contact us through your booking agency in case you need our assistance, Best regards, Julia Travel Customer Service
Disappointing overview
Marlene_D, Feb 2024
The scenery in the tour was a good mix and interesting way to see the sights and sounds of Mexico City. We've been on several of these tours in different cities. This one was very disappointing. The audio narration was mostly music with very scant descriptions of the sites we were seeing. In addition, because the buses all played the tour loudly in Spanish over a PA system, all of us using other languages listened on earphones that were barely able to compete with the Spanish version without blowing out our eardrums! It was a noisefest and very difficult to listen to and more painful and stressful than helpful. Some audio jacks were broken or missing so we had to move seats multiple times to find two good audio jacks so we could both listen to the narration in the headsets (although as I already mentioned, that was mostly a bad way to hear as well). This could have been much better had they simply had all riders use headsets and not had the PA system blaring. But if you don't speak English, the earphones are of little benefit in the current format.
Response from Host, Feb 2024
Dear Marlene_D, Thank you for taking the time to share this review, I regret to learn that the tour/activity didn’t live up to your expectations. Bear in mind that our audio guides provide short descriptions of the sites viewed from our bus to give our customers a general idea of the city. The music that goes with these explanations strives to make the ride more enjoyable. We regret that you could not enjoy it completely. Our buses are frequently exanimated to make sure that all of the features are working properly, unfortunately, this kind of issue may appear during the day. Anyway, we are going to report this issue to make sure that this situation is not repeated in the future. In addition, rest assured our corresponding team will closely revise your suggestions to see whether there is room for improvement as suggested. Best regards,
Anxiety
Justin_F, Jan 2024
Good tour. The tour operators must be clearer as to when and where and how to get on the bus. Tourist anxiety overwhelmed planning. You can do better!
So so
Ruth_T, Jan 2024
It would have been good to get more information on meeting points- map, location etc in the confirmation email. Also our tickets weren’t checked and we were ignored by the staff onboard. It would have been good to get more information about the sights as that felt quite limited.
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Dear Ruth_T Thank you for sharing your feedback, I am glad to enjoyed the Mexico City Tour even though you felt misinformed by your booked agency, Please bear in mind that the complete list of the stop and map is published on the official website of the service, Best regards,
Worth the price
Joshuah_V, Jan 2024
Convenient your to get you around Mexico City. It only takes 2 hours depending on the tour you book and has several buses.
Only take Centro and Polanco routes. Sur route is too long and too much traffic.
Robert_D, Jan 2024
Started at 9:30 and took all 3 routes and had 45 minutes at transfer point, finished at 5pm. No time to stop in any area for very long. Watch out for the tree branches!
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Dear Robert_D Thank you for sharing this review, I am glad to learn that you mostly enjoyed Mexico City Tour, Please bear in mind that the complete list of stops and routes is shared with all authorized selling points, Best regards,
Great service that works in other countries. In Mexico City, the lack of training and customer service mentally shows.
Sophia_R, Jan 2024
Great drivers! Great idea! Need to train your employees more!! Customer representatives in Auditorio were rude and unhelpful. The stop we wanted to take did not match the website and her attitude was “too bad website is not updated, you can take the bus or not!! Issue was that we bought the tickets online and plan accordingly! We were not going to just not ride the bus. Other stops were great. Yellow route headphones system was blocked, so no audio guide for us.
Response from Host, Jan 2024
Dear Sophia_R Thank you for sharing your feedback, It saddens me to learn that you were not satisfied with México City Tour, We will take your comments into account and pass them to the department in charge, as we strive to provide an excellent service, Best regards,

The music on the bus tour setup a very nice atmosphere. The tour guides were very nice and the route we pick was beautiful.
Best way to CDMX in a day
Amelia_W, Dec 2023
This is the best way to see Mexico City in a short space of time. It was great to be able to connect to all 4 routes and see the whole city. The audio was also very informative. Ignore the poor reviews - just ask for headsets. Just make sure to check the routes with a driver as some of the pickup points have changed from the website and make sure you are near an appropriate stop by 7pm as the bus will stop wherever you are at that time.
Great way to see CDMX
Mysee_C, Dec 2023
My friend and I got the 2 day pass and had a great time using the bus to get around. Staff were friendly and the buses were punctual. My only suggestion for improvement is to update the map so it reflects the names we see today on Google maps. The maps is outdated so it was confusing when comparing it to Google maps.
Please read...a must! Excellent trip!
Larry_H, Dec 2023
100% worth every penny and completely affordable. We did the two day pass in anticipation it would take at least half a day to figure out how to maneuver through the routes. Previous reviews were discouraging, however we have found them to be 100% inaccurate. This tour truly is designed for you to make your own itinerary, however if you are needing someone to hold your hand or baby you, then perhaps a hand guided tour is for you. I write this because I almost missed out because of poor reviews. Also if you are looking to save on Uber fares and taxi fares this is beyond economical. We are on the third route now and need one more to go. This is the best way to see the city and save some extra steps, because here you will take them. Lots and lots and once again lots of walking. 76 year old and 34 year old customers here! Thank you Touribus! Plus, excellent customer service.
