Great must do tour while in the city

Olin was an amazing, patient, accommodating, flexible, friendly and knowledgeable guide. All you can ask for a tour guide! The history provided in the tour is not over the top so he keeps you engaged . He will take you through spots that you would otherwise never see even as a Mexican. I lived in Mexico a long time and I still experienced new things and learned new things and that was amazing! My husband and I were traveling with our 13 year old son and my 70+ parents in law and we all really enjoyed our day with Olin as well as the amazing food throughout the day. Definetly a must do tour if you are in Mexico and even better if you do this a day before you want to go and explore downtown on your own since you will have a better idea where you want to go spend your time at your own pace while in the city. If you are a very picky eater as my mother in law be prepared and take a sandwich or some snacks with you so you don't miss out on this tour.

It is a history and local food tour

The tour started in front of a very local hole in a wall type family own eatery in a working class neighborhood. Guess what? This place has the best tamale I have ever had in my life. This is tour of Mexican history and culture with sampling some local foods along the way. The other good eat we had was a blue corn taco. Our tour guide Oliverdo really took his time with us. He explained everything in details. The tour lasted more than 5 hrs.

What a great experience. Fernando is one of the best guides we have ever had. His pride and passion for Mexico city is 2nd to none. Great little spots to try diffrent foods, very educational and fun. This tour is a must.

This is a great tour. You start off in a not very touristy area before heading into the historical centre. There is a lot of a history and a lot of food. All of the food was delicious and the pulque tasting was fun. Make sure you have comfortable shoes and don’t have breakfast before you go.

This is a gem of a tour and a must see experience. Our tour guide, Ollie, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He went above and beyond to give our group an unforgettable stroll through the life of a chilango. 5 stars, 10 out of 10.

If you do one tour in Mexico City, this should be it.

Food, history, and a great overview of the city. Fabulous tour guide who showed us the “real” Mexico City. Different foods to taste, explanations of the different foods and drinks. Metro ride - a great day.

The tour was absolutely amazing. Owen or Olen, our tour guide did an amazing job. On this tour you get to live a day like a true Chilango. The food was amazing, the drinks was amazing and the tour guide took us to some of the most amazing spots to see in Mexico City. I definitely recommend this tour!

Olin was outstanding in every way. He took us to fascinating places where tourists normally don’t go. We saw so much in four hours and really appreciate how Olin took care of us ( we are in our 70’s). Highly recommend!!

The Chilango Experience

What a great time! Fernando and Alex were amazing. We went to places where most tourists don't go and it was great. They accommodated my dietary needs fully at every food stop. All delicious too. Visiting the market brought me back to my childhood. The pulquería was nice. The terrace bar was gorgeous and had a great view. I highly recommend this tour. Don't be afraid to try something new. Experience CDMX the Chilango way!

Olin gave a great tour! Little stops for food and drinks mixed with his knowledge of history and architecture was interesting and fun. We got our recommended doses of vitamin T (lol) and plenty of steps (wear comfy walking shoes). Highly recommend this wonderful city tour was unlike any I have done here in the past.

We chose this tour because of its local bent and were not disappointed. From the local market, the subway ride, and all the street food along the way, this was an excellent introduction to the real city. Don't worry; we walked by all the main central points of interest. Our guide was excellent. Highly recommend this tour.

If you want an authentic tour into the streets of Mexico City this is the experience for you! Our tour guide Fernando took us into the neighborhoods, the subways, the local food market, and gave us a great history lesson! We met some great locals along the way who made us feel welcomed and greeted us with some delicious food. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it if you want something a little more adventurous.

Great insider experience

This was a really great experience! Traveling in a small group, our guide took us to a number of out-of-the-way places in different Mexico City neighborhoods. We sampled fantastic street food along the way, and he gave us mini history lessons as well as info on Mexico City culture. Lots of walking, but our guide spaced out the walking with short stops along the way to sample street food, so it worked out well. Highlights for me were the visits to the market store with all the moles and chiles, as well as the street with all the Quinceañera jewelry and clothing. All in all, a really great experience. Highly recommend!

This tour itself is a hidden gem - instead of taking you to all the "famous" places you will have the chance to take a peek into CDMX residents' lives. Strongly recommended for those who are interested in CDMX itself or are looking for more than just regular tourists experience. Olin explained everything clearly and in an interesting way, so although we don't speak or understand any Spanish we had a good time. 推荐给所有有趣但受制于西语水平的朋友们！
