Too much driving and wasted stops

Way too much driving and uninteresting stops. Xochomilco was fun and colorful but on the boat only one hour and 30 minutes to walk around. I would not recommend this all day tour just for Xochomilco.

Decent experience but missing Frida Kahlo Museum was sad

The tour doesn't include Frida Kahlo museum and it doesn't overtly specify that. Most of the tours that cover Xochimilko and Coyoacan cover Frida Kahlo museum as well, hence this is bound to be overlooked by some tourists like me, at the end it's us the tourists lose out on seeing one of the most iconic destinations of Mexico as Frida Kahlo museum ticket must be booked well in advance, which again the tour operator didn't care to inform. The guide was nice, speaks some English (though I mostly had to take help from other bilingual co-tourists), have decent knowledge of the area and Mexico's history but nothing about this tour was outstanding to rate them 5 star.

Don’t go on a Sunday.

There was a lot to see on this trip but please don’t go on a Sunday. Xochimilco was so crowded after 15 minutes the boat turned around and had to go back. It was then stuck for ages while it tried to return. Didn’t see anything. Plus please note they serve lunch and drinks that u have to pay for even if u don’t drink or eat anything.

Worse Tourist Guide

Ursula was not professional at all she left us on our own, to discover the places . Xochimilco we spent 30 minutes waiting for our food it was a waste of thine, because the boat ride was only 30 minutes. Don’t recommend at all.

A beautiful and interesting tour. At the beginning, there was a problem with my pickup, but they solved it very quickly. Why to book with Teo Mexico Tours? Therefore, where I felt safe, the pick-up was from the hotel and so at the end of the tour I was brought back to the hotel. And the most important part is that they are always available on WhatsApp and they will answer you in a few minutes. Thank you very much for everything.

Best guide for Xochimilco and Coyoacan

Alan (guide) and Miguel (driver) were absolutely amazing and we could not recommend them enough. The tour was really interesting and Alan was very knowledgeable. The boat trip was so much fun and food was amazing - we were told all the prices upfront and had an absolute feast! Coyoacán was also great and nice to have some free time to explore. The rest of the stops were very interesting and overall a great trip. I think we were lucky with the traffic but regardless, Miguel was a great driver and the minivan was very comfortable. Definitely worth booking when you’re in CDMX!

Xochimilco, tourist trap

Xochimilco is a tourist trap. It is like eating lunch in a bumper car. Not pleasant at all. UNAM is interesting and Coyoacan is lovely

The tour was nice and Kique was very informative. The only surprise was the food on the boat. We didn’t get a menu stating what was served and prices so at the end everyone got charged 200 pesos ($17 USA) whether it was quesadilla or carne asada plate and that didn’t include the pop and of course we knew that it wouldn’t include any alcohol drinks. I just wish that we would of gotten a heads up on the lunch prices because we did know that it wouldn’t be included with price for tour. Other than that everything was alright.

Coyoacan tour was disappointing

The Xochililco tour was nice but entire tour was too focused on working with vendors that had deals with the tour company or tour guide. We spent more time in a silver shop that’s not part of the tour than we did at Coyoacan. Also for the boat tour, the tour guide had deals with a specific food vendor than us being able to buy from roaming food vendors. Cayoacan tour was rushed, we were told we would get an hour to look around but when we got there he took us to 3 places and we were only in the area for 30 mins mostly walking and talking no time to shop or look around.

Nice time during the visit to Xochimilco. Having lunch at the boat was excelent ! Visiting University was aso nice experience. Did not like the long drives around the city. It was poor choice of sites to see, and most of the day was spent in the car.

Overall, I was able to visit all the places I want (mainly Coyocan and Xochimilco). However, it felt like it was rushed at every place except for when we were at Xochimilco. The reason is because we make a lot of stops not noted in the tour. We stopped by a silver shop for people to buy things, which was something I did not want to do.

Lots of fun and very interesting

This was a lot of fun and very interesting throughout the whole day. Enrique was an incredibly knowledgable tour guide and he explained everything in dual language (Spanish and English). The Xochimilco boat trip was a proper laugh. Luckily we were on a tour with some lively people as you definitely need the party atmosphere, so we all chipped in to pay for a mariachi band. That being said, there are lots of other boats with mariachi bands etc playing so you get to experience the atmosphere even if your group don’t want the bands on the boat. Enrique stayed with us for the whole trip and gave some good advice. The other parts were great. You get a mix of information on the bus and a lot of walking about (leisurely not too fast!) places of interest. Coyoutan was buzzing and you get to walk over to the Frida Kahlo museum afterwards before getting back onto the bus. Myself and my husband enjoyed the whole day and would definitely recommend this if you are visiting Mexico City. It’s a very good way to see a lot of this huge city!

This tour was amazing and the best bang for your buck out of all the tours available in CDMX. Our guide was Carlos, an archaeologist by trade who was extremely passionate and enthusiastic about Mexico's history. We learned so much about the city of Mexico and the Aztec empire thanks to Carlos. The tour is action packed and we got to see more sites and learned much more than we thought we would when we booked the trip. Xochimilco is fab, we enjoyed a homemade dinner from the floating restaurant. Would recommend visiting Xochimilco on the weekend for the full experience if your schedule allows. Cannot recommend the tour with Carlos as a guide enough!
