Excellent tour. Our guide Serena was fun and informative. I would highly recommend if you enjoy drinks/apps and some history lessons along the way.

We had a wonderful time meeting Serena and learning about the history of Milan as well as getting excellent restaurant and gelato recommendations! Finding Serena at the pick-up point was very easy. She is so lovely and friendly! We agreed to have another group join our tour after they experienced some traveling mishaps and we are so glad they did! We enjoyed meeting everyone and making new friends. This may have made our experience even better! The tour was fantastic and the drinks and food were delicious. We loved getting a local’s perspective and insights. Can’t wait to try this again on other adventures!

The tour was a mix of history, food and beverages in the city of Milan. I learned about some foods and drinks from the region and had a lovely walk and conversation with my guide, Francesca. The first location had interesting food selections and Prosecco (I think) to start the party! The second stop focused mostly on the mixed drinks of the region. I learned that I don’t necessarily like bitters, but it was a fun and cool place to try one. The final stop had yummy pizzas or flatbreads in unique combinations and -wine yay!!!

This was a great tour. The meeting place was incredible, but not noted in the tour books, so it expanded our knowledge of Milan and saw some new sites. Now that I've been to a few "happy hours" with Appetizers, I think that the appetizers for this tour, at the last stop were skimpy.

We had a long flight into Milan and knew we would be tired and jet lagged. We had booked an evening walking tour of some local places for drinks and snacks as a way to simplify getting to know our surroundings and finding a good place for our first meal. Basically, leaving all the critical thinking to a much more awake, and knowledgeable local. Serena perfectly fit that that role. She was warm and friendly and lead us through the streets and down along the canal. We tasted traditional Milanese drinks and snacks and it felt as though we were old friends just “hanging out” while she told us all about the area. She was flexible with our tour and allowed us to influence how it evolved. She recommended a great restaurant for Milanese style comfort food “like Nonna would make” and even got us on the tram to make it to our reservations on time! Overall, this was a great experience due to her personality, knowledge, and flexibility. We will definitely seek her out the next time we are in Milan and highly recommend her to you for any tour she is hosting.
