The views from the top is absolutely spectacular. We took the lift and there were still quite a few steps but it was worth it. Our guide was wonderful as well, very knowledgeable and very patient.

Brilliant Duomo tour with Giorgio

We did the 2 hour guided tour of Duomo Cathedral on Wednesday , booked through Viator - Italy Hidden Experiences. The Cathedral is amazing. Our guide, Giorgio, was absolutely brilliant. He was so knowledgable, very friendly and funny, we loved it. Disappointed that we couldn't go to the top of the roof because of the weather, it was too slippy apparently, but it was still brilliant. There was only me and my husband on the tour as well which was great. Would definitely recommend this , and ask for Giorgio for your guide if you can because he is brilliant

Wow! Our experience was amazing with our tour guide! There was only myself and my friend, then a couple from Hong Kong, which made it such an enlightening and personal experience for us. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the Duomo and its history and knew the perfect spots for us to pause, admire and obviously snap a few pictures. He enlightened us on not only the facts to know but also his own personal favourite parts and facts too (like the boxing gloves, the solar calendar and the World War bullet holes!) which both myself and my friend adored. We would highly recommend our tour guide and the company to many others and would book again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a great tour!

Excellent guide Lorena. She was very knowledgeable and patient and helpful. She told us so much about the history and made everything we saw much more interesting.
Walking through the Duomo is of course possible, but the tour provides another level of information you can't just see

When I booked this tour a month before I was concerned about the cost, but our tour guide, Lorella Baroncelli was excellent. Knowledgeable, professional and well versed in several languages she made the tour extremely interesting. One fact that was surprising is the Duomo gets absolutely no funding from the Vatican. The Milan Duomo is a private entity and the ongoing renovations, which are extensive are funded by private donors.

Carlo was great! The tour ended up just being my husband and myself and Carlo. He told us so many amazing and interesting facts while also giving us plenty of space and time to walk around. He’s super knowledgeable about the cathedral as well as Milan itself. Overall great tour.

Mariela was amazing. I definitely recommend the 9am tour as it’s not too hot and less crowded. She gave great info and had an iPad to show pictures of how things changed over the years. We had our 20m old son with us and she arranged us to get the lift back down from the terraces, very thoughtful!
