What To Expect

While in Milan, learn about the great wine that is produced in the region. Sip some of the finest wine in the area as an expert sommelier guides through a tasting, telling you about the history of wine production in the area and noting all the characteristics, from subtle to bold, of the vino you are imbibing. This guided wine tasting allows you to sample three different wines and to snack on cold meats in between tastings.

The wine of Lombardy is well known throughout the world and produces some legendary wines, including sparkling Franciacorta, red Sforzato di Valtellinese and sweet Moscato di Scanzo.

Our sommelier taught us a great deal about wine and did so in a very relatable way that was easy to understand and remember! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn about how to understand the different aspects of wine!

Don’t waste your money

Do not waste your money on this tour. They don’t tell you where to park there is no parking anywhere within a 2 mile radius to even walk to it. Messaged the operator and they replied. The next day. Refused to refund me and only offered a reschedule that comes with a fee 🙄 told he I could’ve messaged them on the app they SUGGEST you can download but I didn’t download it bc it never said it was required for after hours contact

Hi Donya, I'm very sorry that the experience was so frustrating for you. We work hard to make sure all of our guests have the best time with us and clearly we failed in this case. As a general rule, we don't provide parking solutions for our activities, although if you message us in advance we will happily research the best options for you. The wine tasting takes place in an ancient wine bar in a beautiful neighbourhood, but perhaps the parking options could be better. Our cancellation policy is 24hrs, so yes if you cancel with less than a day's notice then unfortunately there is no refund available. I'm sorry also for the confusing communication regarding our app: You don't need to download anything to be in contact with us, what my colleague meant to say was that if you had replied to the reminder message that we sent you (via text message), then we could have immediately responded. Once again my apologies for the frustration.

The group was just 7 n I was there solo. Was not difficult to mingle n the host was most engaging. He share his knowledge on how to taste n distinguish young n matured wine. They paired some small bites along with the wine making the overall experience great. I also asked for recommendation of an Italian red wine. Overall gained knowledge as you enjoyed the wine

Great time at the wine tasting in Milan...very cool setting and a great lesson in the appropriate way to drink and enjoy wine. This tasting was entry level, but was very well done and we very much enjoyed the experience. If this is your first experience with a wine tasting, I would recommend...for those that have done any in the past, this might be less than what you might want, we have done several but enjoyed this one as well.

It was a bit tricky to find the restaurant, but we got there without getting too lost. Our sommelier at the restaurant was the owner. He was very personable and gave us a lot of great information on how to judge wine. The wine was excellent, and the snacks were just right accompany what we had to drink. Oh yes, the pours were not skimpy.

We learnt a great deal that we hadn’t learnt at other wine tasting events. We would definitely recommend, Nico was very passionate about the wine, food and his presentation was fantastic! We even went for dinner with the other people at the wine tasting so it’s a great way of bringing people together from different cultural backgrounds. The only problem we had was that we originally booked the 4.30pm slot but when we arrived, we got told to come back at 6.30pm as there is an issue with the website bookings. We then had to wait around for 2 hours. We hope this booking system error can be fixed in future. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Absolutely loved this tasting. Went to La Dogana del Buongusto which had fantastic wine and food pairings. Loved the atmosphere and the sommelier was fantastic - we learned a lot in a short amount of time!

Martina was the best! She had us taste three completely different wines and gave us food in between. I didn't need dinner after that. Instead I finished with going to the top of the Duomo and eating some gelato. I really recommend it, I am alone in Italy and this was one of my best choices. First day was a success in Milan!
