A:There’s 1-2 miles of walking at a moderate pace. If you’re traveling with a stroller or wheelchair, the High Line and Vessel also have elevator access instead of stairs, but we can’t guarantee the elevators will be working.

The tour was extremely informative due to our wonderful tour guide, Ellen. Not only did she take us to each spot and give us the standard information, but her clear passion and knowledge of history made it feel as if we had behind-the-scenes knowledge of everything Hudson Yards. The stories were fascinating, and her background in theater helped carried her voice and make the stories even more exciting. Highly recommend for an educational experience with a bit of relaxing exercise (walking)!

Our guide Kevin was amazing! Perfect balance of history, fun facts, and humor. He also worked in sitting, ever so perfectly, so that we didn’t have to stand the whole time. A great way to learn about this “city within a city”! Would highly recommend!

Historical and informative - but wrap up for the winds!

It's been almost eight years since my last trip to NYC and so the last time I was in this area it was pretty different. Having seen the architecture of the Vessel, the Edge and the Shed on television, and having walked the Highline previously I considered this to be a worthwhile way to spend the first morning of my latest trip. Kendra was guide to a fairly small crowd and she was very knowledgeable about the history of the Highline and Hudsons Yards area, as well as the architecture, investment and huge gentrification which had occurred in the past three or four years. She was attentive, charming and patient with us all - struggling against the strong winds that day. A great tour especially for anybody interested in the socio-economic situation of the city. Be prepared for the gusty winds!
