Due to site regulations your tour guide might not be able to accompany you inside the sites; regardless, they will offer a complete explanation of what you will experience inside
On days where the volume of visitors may be higher, such as: holidays, there may be long lines to enter the ferry, monument and museums.
Time and dates are subject to availability
We offer the Premium Option, which includes an Interactive Audio Guide on your phone to supplement the explanations provided by the guide in places where he/she is not allowed to lead. We recommend choosing this option to enhance your experience
Due to the security check to go on board the ferry every client has to wait a line. This line can take until 2 hours depending on the affluence. We recommend taking a hat and suncream on summer and you can also use this time to make turns and use the toilette

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Informative, Inspiring, and Impressive

Our guide Alicia was excellent! She did a wonderful job providing the information in both English and Spanish. She was attentive to the 2 guests in wheelchairs and helped to faciliate their entrance and exit from the ferry. We were very impressed with the museums on both islands. They were interactive, informative and attractive. We could have spent a lot more time there. Timing for our entry to the ferry and transfer to Ellis Island assured minimal wait time.

The tour guide Alyssa with Amigo Touts was unacceptable. She arrived late, did not even give us her name, sornt 30 minutes checking that we were registered. Finally we walked to the ferry dock, where we went through security and she told us not to go into line after but to follow her umbrella. I was detained during to joint replacement, so we were behind the group and she did not wait for us. We could not get to her raised umbrella due to crush of people. She and group went on ferry without us. We saw her no more until she walked by on Liberty Island getting ferry to Ellus and NYC. I stoooed her to complain that she left us and we'd received no tour narration at all. I asked for my money back. She was totally unacceptable. Please return my payment. The tour itself was excellent and our guide, Jorge was fantastic, however the information on where to meet was very poor and we would have missed our tour of the tour guide hasn’t called Us. Where we met our guide was not where Viator told us to meet

5/5 for the statue and Ellis Island 0/5 for the guide : running, not waiting for the group, talked twice 10min (in 4h). We felt that if we had to ask a question, we had to pay. So take thie attraction, it's worth it. A guide ? Nope. It's a joke. My phone gave many more info and secrets about the statue.

Lily our guide was very patient and extremely enthusiastic when giving us information about the tour or the Statue of Liberty. Because of the large crowds we were not able to get on the same ferry with her but she gave us enough information to be able to finish the tour without her.

We were very disappointed that we paid for a tour we could have done by ourselves. Sarah told us about New Amsterdam at the only stop in Battery Park. She warned us about the airport style security. We could always find her with the purple umbrella. Her only other commentary was at the Statue when she talked about the 5 men who contributed. She left us at Ellis Island with one instruction to get the sound device at the desk to the right and to get on the ship headed to NY not NJ. If we had known, we could have purchased those tickets and done this ourselves. This was not a "tour".

Good time but not worth $40

Overall it was okay but were lost getting to the meet up spot and we were told that we could go straight to NY after seeing statue but that wasnt the case. She didnt know what she was talking about.

Our tour guide, Alice (as in Alice in Wonderland) was the best part of the tour! She was well versed and knowledgeable about the sights. She is bilingual (Spanish) which allowed her to speak to all in our group. Group size was 11 and most manageable. Super tour!

Would never use Viator again. The tour guide was FABULOUS. the tour was misrepresented and way over priced for what we got. We bought a tour that was to include going into the base of the Statue of Liberty, but what we got did not include going into statue at all.
