This information was included in your voucher, the tour product description, and our tour reminder emails. It appears you were not clear on the inclusions and exclusions of the tour. But this tour has consistently received numerous 5-star reviews and rave recommendations.       Not worth it. Guide left us half way through. We had to wait 60 mins to buy tickets which we assumed would have been pre bought. Couldn’t access the summit because it was so busy and were told we’d get a refund in this instance which has since been declined. Promised a quiz and prize which we didn’t get. Save your money and buy on the door.

      Worst organised “tour” I have ever experienced

      Absolute rip off. Very disorganised, tour guides did not have a clue. Don’t know why the tickets are not purchased and distributed at the meeting point. We stood nearly an hour and then told we had a further 2.5hr wait to get tickets and then no guarantee we would get to the summit of the Eiffel Tower. Not suitable when you have a 4 and 8 year old. I will be looking for a refund.

      The Eiffel Tower is spectacular, no question. The views from the top were incredible, especially at sunset on a clear day. However, the tour itself was a bit blah. Charles, our guide, was great and knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts, but I think we could have bought our own tickets to the summit and wouldn’t have missed much going on our own. I bought this tour since it had an optional river cruise attached to it - turns out that on the day of the tour, the guide gave me a voucher to book the cruise separately, which really messed up my plans since I thought we’d cruise after the tour was over. Generally, I felt this tour was unorganized and a bit chaotic - so hard to hear and follow the guide through the masses of people. And I was disappointed with the cruise option since we ended up on the hop-on/hop-off boat because that’s what was available at the time. Definitely don’t book the optional cruise, and consider if you really want a tour since you won’t miss much going on your own.

      Don’t waste your money. This is just a guide queuing up with you to buy your tickets for you. This took 3 1/2 hours and by the time we actually got in the guide had to leave to start his next tour. Complete waste of money the tickets cost very little. Do it yourself folks!

      We did not make it to the top of the tower as advertised. The top platform was closed. The tour operator said that Viator would refund 33% of the cost of the tickets because all the group was not allowed to travel to the top of the Eiffel tower. Would you please refund 33% of the cost of the tickets? Thank you. Brendon Kurtz

      Do not take this offer, get tickets yourself onsite, this adds one hour of nothing at the base of the tower.

      this is very unnessesary. Everyone in our group was upset. You go into the eiffel tower area and just literally stand around while the tour guide bores you for 50 minutes with trivia and facts about not only the eiffel tower but other monuments around the world. We were all visibly upset after maybe 12 minutes of this but it goes on forever. Then you go stand in line to buy tickets which you could just do on your own. We figure this is so people get so upset they leave which some of us really wanted to do because there is no refunds and the company will make more money. Then we stood in line for 1 hour 20 minutes to buy tickets with whoever would not just walk away and more quickly buy their own tickets because that is all you are doing. DON'T DO THIS, just go and buy your own ticket as everyone around us was , save money and at least an hour wait before they even hop in the ticket line! You can look up how many rivets, days to build, people who worked, and statue of liberty , and other tower trivia on your own if you want.

      Great people. They accommodated me after my itinerary schedule had changed and made the tour work with our time in Paris. The guide was amazing and very knowledgeable, she answered all our random questions. It was an amazing experience, I would highly recommend.

      The tour guide was very knowledgeable, however, was not a fan of the guide trying to get the review completed before going up the Eiffel Tower. Also, my name was originally put down as a no show so when I had to say who I was again and that me and my group were there, we had to wait for another ticket to be bought and the group left us.

      This is such a waste of money … and specifically time. Imagine going to the movie theater and paying $90 for someone to buy you a ticket at the booth. The average waiting time for the Eiffel Tower at the time was is 2 to 3 hours - add 30 to 45 min waiting for a student guide to just tell you about the history of the tower 🤨. You don’t skip lines or speed up your entrance…. Just lengthen your wait in the queue waiting for them to buy your ticket you could have gotten 1 hour early! Just buy your ticket $60 cheaper and get in line early.

      We paid a huge surplus to stand in the regular on the day ticket queue together with our “guides”. The summit was not optional as they were unable to buy tickets to the summit on the day. The cruise was probably the cheapest and most crowded of all the operators on the Seine. In summary- a complete rip off. We would have been better off queuing to get our own tickets which would have saved us time as we would not have had to hang around waiting for the entire group to arrive.

The Seine Cruise is a self-guided activity that can be taken on any day, as the tickets have a year-long validity. The cruise also runs throughout the day. So there is always the option of taking the cruise at a different time if the boat appears crowded. For the summit closure, a partial refund is issued if this occurs.       Could not find meeting point. GPS took me right past meeting spot. Called Customer Service and the young lady who took the call stayed with me for at least 15-20 minutes. She was kind and cordial and eventually got me to my tour leader.. Tour guide was excellent and kept group engaged throughout the long wait time. Great Job.

      This entire experience was awful. I will never use Viator again. Waited in line for approximately 3 hours for Eiffel tower. The guides did not give clear instructions and did not escort to the summit. There were people in the group that paid for summit experience and were told they did not. In addition to the horrible Eiffel experience, I had to ask several times for the tickets for the river cruise ticket. The guide sent the ticket, but did not send the instructions for where to get the boat. I was never told that the cruise could be taken another day. After I inquired, the guide told me that I had a choice of three places to catch the boat, he then emailed me directions to the place and told me that I could go to any of the three places, but when i went to one of the choices, I was told that the tickets were for another boat company. 😡😡😡😡😡😡

      Our tour guide, Fatahyia was wonderful! She explained and talked about Eiffel Tower, kept us engaged while waiting for our turns inside. It was easy to get into the Eiffel Tower, no need to worry about tickets and routes. Once we got to the Summit, we were free to roam & explore and we were also informed by what time to leave. Highly recommended!
