The tour guide told a few historical events and stories and left after we took the elevator to the second floor. We did not skip the line. That was a waste of money. We stood in line for 45 minutes total. Just to get into the elevator. Not worth the price.

So our tour guide never showed … we waited for the 8:00 tour to the summit for 30 mins before we left…. Never got to go up. We were extremely disappointed to say the very least!!!

BEWARE!!!! WATCH OUT !!! This is a scam the tour operator takes your money and nobody arrives at the agreed meeting point! They don’t respond to any messages or calls. I paid for my family to have a unique experience for the one day we were in Paris and and never got to go up the Eiffel Tower and spent the entire day dealing with Viator to try get a refund for my money - my entire trip to Paris was ruined by this scammer of a tour operator. I will never forgive QUALIUM for absolutely destroying my family’s holiday to Paris - no refund of my money will ever make up for it. Whenever I see the Eiffel Tower or my two young boys see the Eiffel Tower alll we will remember is how we got ripped off and scammed by QUALIUM.

We waited at the designated spot, even spread out to other possibilities, but the guide never showed up. We called, no answer; texted but no response. We were early for the meet up and stayed a long long time; how can any tour do this to customers!! Do not book this!! And another irritation that Viator showed the trip as "completed", a total lie.

Great tour! I recommend this tour to everyone. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We loved seeing and hearing all about the history of the Eiffel Tower. Skip the Line is the only way to go.

We picked a time so we could see sunset from the top. Our guide took us to a place where we could see the Eiffel Tower while she explained the history of it. At the end she took a photo of each group with the Tower behind us! Oh to have a nice picture that wasn't a selfie!!!! Highly recomend this tour.

Tour itself and guide were very good. One couple were 40 minutes late at meeting place. Guide insisted we must wait for them. Standing waiting at 80 years old was very difficult for me others also felt we should go. Very rude and May as well waited in line and saved$100 each

No advantage to having a guide, no line was skipped. Guide did not offer very much historical information. “Tour” stops after first elevator ride after pointing out a few sites with more vague information. Other guides were overheard doing any excellent narration full of interesting details, for example, how the elevator hydraulics work. Reading wikipedia on my own would have saved money & time. The logistics of meeting with a group slowed my visit down quite a bit without much benefit

Would avoid this tour

I had specifically booked this tour since we wanted to have access to the summit via elevator. The day of the tour however the summit was closed due to windy conditions. Our tour guide was unable to give us any guidance about how to get a refund since we had paid significantly more to make sure that we would be able to get to the summit. The day after the tour I got in touch with Viator customer service and was told that they would look into the matter and get back to me within 72 hours. I has has been more than 96 hours with no response.

Our guide was really good. She was also good enough to wait for 4 people who turned up 15 minutes late from the allocated time for the tour so they would not miss out. She was very informative and considering just how crowded the whole place and tour was, and I mean we were packed in like sardines, she did an excellent job of keeping us together, giving us heaps of info about the tower and once we were at the top, about landmarks etc we could see as well

Sadly it wasn't a great experience, the tour guide was in a rush because she had another tour coming, I do not understand why would you book two tours so closed together, she did not explain anything about the tower just a few facts, she loses us in the elevator, it was crazy crowded, expensive tour, we went to the top, yeah great views but I think is overrated take some pictures from the Champs de Mars and do something else with your time
