What To Expect

Your exclusive combo experience begins near Pont d’Iena, the closest bridge to the Eiffel Tower. Meet your guide and a group of up to 20 travelers. Listen to stories about the engineer Gustave Eiffel and his iconic creation as you head to the base of the tower.

After admiring the Eiffel Tower from below, you’ll ascend to the 2nd floor. Watch as your guide points out historical landmarks like Arc de Triomphe and Notre-Dame Cathedral, adding interesting commentary. You’ll have a bird’s eye view over the whole city.

If you’ve selected an optional summit upgrade, then you’ll board the elevator that takes you straight to the top of the tower with your guide. Spend free time admiring the scenery on your own before heading back to the second level.

Your Eiffel Tower experience includes a guided one-hour Seine River cruise with a complimentary glass of champagne. But there’s no need to rush: Open tickets let you choose the day and time.

The boat cruise lasts one hour and you are free to do this whenever you like after the Eiffel Tower tour, on the day booked. The boarding point will be clearly pointed out to you by your guide as you walk past on the tour.

I would just buy a ticket on-site

Eiffel Tower tour was well explained by tour guide Deepal. She took us to the 2nd level and left us not before sending us off to the summit. Then began my 3hour harrowing experience - first connecting with viator to find out meeting point for Seine River cruise. I was asked to connect activity operator city wonder tours,sent an sms to them , no answer, no WhatsApp number, finally had to make an international call to them. The representative instructed to contact Seine River Cruise operator Vedette who denied me entry saying no valid ticket. After lot of reluctance and argument from them, the pdf of my ticket was read thoroughly and I was finally allowed entry to the river cruise.

Poor service, your not competed due to operator’s

The guide did not seem to know about the tour, 1st she said only 2 nd floor of the tower, when I showed her my ticket she says well usually we don’t do that. Also we were to get a 1 hour river cruise with champagne, she said we don’t do that. Again showed ticket and she says well it’s not that much you can just but it if you want. I already paid for it why would I want to buy another one? I totally would not recommend!

The day before; they cancelled our Eiffel Tower tour when we got to the meeting point! Luckily we had used another vendor for our Louvre tour otherwise our whole week would have been ruined. Ami our guide he was fun and knowledgeable. The day with its blue sky made for an awesome view of Paris. Ami pointed out all the magnificent historical buildings and the history. Without a guide it would still have been wonderful but with the history and where the buildings were made much more worth our while. We would definitely go again.

Awesome experience. Although it was freezing. The tour guide (Raymond, from Nigeria), offered great insights on the Eiffel Tower. Almost missed the meeting point; the green flag, can be a bit bigger.

We had to ask lots of people where the Viator guide was. She was hidden and did not make herself known. On Our tour, the guide for the Effel Tower was lovely and knowledgable However, she did not know when the river cruise was, how to get there, not how long it took. She didn’t know any cruise times, so it made planning how long to be at the Eiffel Tower impossible We had to argue for our free champagne on the river cruise as they hadn’t heard of this The tour guide on the cruise was very softly spoken, even with the microphone, so we didn’t hear any of the tour It was a lot of money for poor service. We would not recommend

For anyone visiting the Eiffel Tower, I recommend buying tickets in advance. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared facts about the Tower as well as Gustav Eiffel. Keep in mind that the guide doesn’t escort you up the tower. You still have to make the lines inside, which weren’t that bad. Regarding the tour, I recommend picking up the tickets before and getting on the cruise before you go up. We were unable to get on the cruise as the last cruise leaves at 5 pm so I didn’t get my money’s worth for that part of the tour.

Tour guide didn’t show up; waited in the cold

Tour guide never showed up and the coordinator had us wait awhile to see if they would. The coordinator ended up asking us to call the tour company to get our refund.
