We loved Matthew our guide. So knowledgeable and fun. Every part of the tour was great. Loved the private family owned champagne house then the larger production house. What an education. The area where we had lunch was gorgeous and the countryside was so pretty.

Honeymoon Devastation - don't book!

Viator is merely a reseller. The tour operator changed the meeting time and place or our tour. In their messaging they said the information would be updated in the Viator app, it was not. I showed up for our tour with the Viator voucher that had the incorrect time and missed the tour completely by 15 minutes. This was a full day tour on my honeymoon and was to be the highlight of our trip to France. Contacting the tour operator and Viator was pointless. Viator does not take care of the customer and the tour operator banked the 100% profit and said tough luck. I've used Viator for many years and I'm so disappointed they didn't update their voucher information and refused to refund or credit a long time customer.

Our tour guide, Matthew, was great! He was so knowledgeable and accommodating the whole day. We learned about the history of this beautiful region and the production of Champagne and its bubbles. I would highly recommend this tour! Be sure to check the pick up point to the proximity of your hotel.

Outstanding Tour of Champagne

After having spent a considerable amount of time in Paris, we became interested in exploring areas outside of the city. We booked this tour with HP and as luck would have it we had a private tour of Reims and 2 houses of champagne in Champagne. It was very educational and interesting and we were able to put our newly acquired skills to the test as we sampled various champagnes. HP proceed all kinds of additional information and commentary to make the tour seem even more personalized. Highly recommend this day trip!

Our guide HP was great! There were 2 other couples with us and everyone was friendly! HP made sure we had the best experiences all day. He was very knowledgeable. Even thought it was a rainy day, We learned a lot about the champagne making process and got to see a lot of the champagne region. Well worth the money spent!
