Our tour guide was wonderful! Did an excellent job of conveying information about Mont San Michel. He was very accommodating and regards to my limitations. I.e. needing told use a cane to walk. We had a wonderful time. Just wish we had had more time at Mont San Michel rather than so much time traveling back-and-forth. But that really can’t be helped.

Amazing workmanship to plan and build the abbey, and Kristelle's enthusiasm and thorough knowledge of Normandy and Le Mont Saint Michel.

Good trip knowledgable guide. Good driver unfortunately there was no toilette in the bus for a 4 hour trip but the stops are planned well along the route.

Unfortunately I have to give this tour a bad review. The tour company was not the issue at all. They were wonderful. The bus was immaculate, the driver safe, and the guide had a smooth pleasant voice that was easily understood. We were kept in the loop on when and where we were stopping and the stops were adequate as far as bathrooms and snack availability. My less than stellar review is simply due to possibly poor planning and unrealistic expectations on my part. For what you get to see the 4+ hour ride each way is just not worth it. We spent 14 hours on this day and spent perhaps a total of 4 hours at Mont St Michel. While we were there it was extremely crowded and impossible to enjoy any aspect of it. People pushing and shoving all over. Our guide did his best to keep us together as a group but it was nearly impossible. Simply too many people for any enjoyment at all. I’d like to commend the tour company on one particular pet peeve of mine that they handled very well. We were told to be at our bus for return at a specific time and not to be late. This was stressed repeatedly. When two of our 40 something busmates did not arrive on time they were given 20 minutes extra and we left without them. Bravo. I understand that things happen and we are all human but their lateness affected everyone. I’m sure they found their way back. So, if I were recommending this trip to a friend I’d tell them to spend a night nearby. Read about it. Observe the amazing Mont St Michel from afar and do not attempt to enter. It’s just not worth it. The tour company, in my opinion, should change the tour because it makes them look bad through no fault of their own.

Our guide was Fantastic! Gave excellent instructions. The Abbey is absolutely breathtaking. Crowd was large - didn’t interfere so much with the tour but shopping afterwards was very crowded. Our guide said the crowd is much worse at times. A very very long day. Left at 7:15 am & lunch was not allowed until after the tour at 2:00 pm. My biggest issue was that I signed up for an English tour & the guide spent 1/2 the time speaking English & the other half speaking Spanish as we had Spanish speaking on the tour. Also the group was too large in such a crowded space. Glad we went but perhaps not the best way to see the place.

Great tour overall. The bus ride is loooooong. Bring things to do. Zero leg room on the bus. The island is amazing. The guide was pretty good. Dealt with three different languages, so it made it long. We loved the restaurant LeTriPot. Great food and fast service.

As a family of six, we had a very good time. Our guide was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable and did a great job interacting with our four boys. The bus travel is broken in two 2 hour blocks. Time at Mont Saint Michel was well organized. We strongly recommend taking a guided tour of the complex given the rich history.

I loved this day trip from Paris. It’s a long day (14 hours) but worth it. Our guide Manuela was excellent and knowledgeable and the audio guides were helpful. The Abby and village are lovely and the scenery is beautiful. I would recommend bringing your own food because there isn’t adequate time to purchase it and the options aren’t great. I took off one star because it was absolutely FRIGID on the bus on the way there and the driver wouldn’t turn off the air conditioning even though it was March and rainy/chilly outside.

Visiting Mont Saint Michel was an unforgettable experience, greatly enhanced by our phenomenal tour guide who flawlessly catered to both English and Spanish speakers. Their attention to detail and caring nature truly set them apart. Equally impressive was our bus driver from Bus H, Vil, whose skill and professionalism made the journey one of the best driving experiences I've ever had. The ride itself was as enjoyable as exploring the majestic Mount St. Michel, making the entire trip a remarkable adventure from start to finish.

Our guide Manuela was excellent. Very nice the whole trip and full of great facts about Normandy and the Abbey. This trip is a very long day, but you can rest on the ride. The bus was very comfortable. The hike to the Abbey is 400 or so steps to the top on varying size stone steps. Definitely not for anyone who struggles with stairs. The actual Abbey is incredible. There is also restaurants and lots of gift shops. Very fund day.
Don't pay for the Guided Audio Tour

It was a long ride (4 hrs from Paris) but it was worth it. Bus was very comfortable and we made a stop mid-way to and from for those of you who are adverse to using WC on the bus. Our biggest complaint was that we requested the guided tour in English. The guide had to speak in multiple languages and the audio box system was so bad (we couldn't adjust the volume) and because it was garbled we decided to DITCH the guided tour and strike out on our own.

They overcharged me for this excursion, and refused to refund. They offered and paid for private transportation. Then I had to go by bus, when I asked to refund the difference, “they regret to inform me, that the service was given” and will refund NOTHING!!! Really? So very NOT TRUST WORTHY!!!

It was a memorable experience as we missed the tour the last time we were in Paris. The travelling time to there is long (approximately 3.5 hours) but it was well paced with good toilet break. Once there, you would have about 3.5 hours in the village before boarding the bus back to to Paris. We opted for a guided tour which in my opnion is a must as you would be able to understand and appreciate the heritage and historical value more of Mont St Michel. If not, you would have too much time at hand and wandering around in gift shops and ended up overspending. Our guide, Laetitia, is very knowlegable and experienced. She could explained in details and related the functions of each room by verbally painting an image in your mind of its former glory. It was very chilly and windy at around 4pm when we had to head to the bus stop. Lunch options are not that many and food is so-so. Tips: Dress warm and go on a guided tour
