The tour was very interesting especially all the food that we tried. Didn’t care much for the shark, can’t even describe the taste. I was very surprised how the whale meat tasted, it tasted like steak. All the other food was delicious also. Ester E, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable about Iceland.

Tour guide Stefan was amazing! Started off late but he was a wonderful speaker and had lots of great stories of the history of Iceland. I'm not so sure why viator had flea market advertised but we did stop at a local shop and sampled some local Icelandic treats. Tour was very fun and would definitely go back just for the hotdog lol. Also tour could go longer then expected so make sure not have to much planned the day of your tour.
Fun food tour

It was a great tour and Oli was a great guide. We tried a wide variety of Icelandic dishes and most memorable was the shark. Not too much walking but up and down stairs in the restaurants which could be difficult with mobility issues. Oli took pics of the group which was nice
A great start to our trip

We had a blast exploring he city and trying some new things. We did this tour on the afternoon of the day we arrived and it knocked out any jet lag we might have had. I highly recommend this tour and would do it again!
Great little trip for orientation

A very knowledgeable guide - took us to a few different places to try the local food. Really enjoyed this trip and if I get back to Iceland, will do this one again
Worthwhile tour in Reykjavik

Food tour was enjoyable and nice range of foods were provided on tour. Guide was knowledgable and was able to successfully navigate a couple of glitches that were presented by the food establishments. Tour was able to accommodate the food allergy issues of several participants. Various points of interest also highlighted during the tour. Helped to navigate the area later when sightseeing. Would definitely recommend.

Make sure you have the lamb hotdogs in Reykjavik!

While we enjoyed the food, we found our guide not very talkative and needed to keep asking questions to elicit details and information about the city and Iceland.

The food, and the guide was good too. Great experience, got to explore and learn about Iceland and the meaning of many of the traditions. Only issue was the rain.

Ólafur was so informative and happily answered all our questions, even when we got him off track ;) He was so genuinely kind, didn't rush, was a wonderful story teller and super funny. We enjoyed learning so much about Iceland's food and history. All of the food was excellent and the flea market was incredible. We had a wonderful time!

The food was amazing & the flea market was great. After the tour we went back to the flea market & returned to 2 of the restaurants.
