Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area.He kept the evening interesting. We went to 3 beer bars and tasted 4 beers at the first 2 and had a single glass at the 3rd. The meeting spot was very conveniently located in the midst of many restaurants and bars so it was easy to grab dinner 1st and then continue the evening once the tour was over. It was a great way to try local beers and learn about the area. I recommend this tour. One side note the 2nd bar had stairs because it was on the 2nd floor and the walking was at a slight uphill angle at a quick pace so consider that and speak ahead of time to the Co if you have any motility issues.

This was an amazing tour! We were a group of 8 and it was the BEST!! We walked away with soo many laughs and so much more educated! This is a great way around town also and a lot of drinks for your money!
Great Experience!

We had a really great time going to all of the various bars and learning about the Craft Beer Scene in Reykajavik. Our tour guide Olaf was very knowledgable.
Disappointing and left with no more beer knowledge of Iceland than when I started.

Seeing different bars was good and hearing about the different night spots was also good. The guide was quite poor, didn’t give any background or volunteer any information, only when asked. I learnt more on the snorkelling tour about the drinking history and culture of Iceland than I do did on the booze tour.

The guide was a local and very friendly and knowledgeable. The bars we travelled to were comfortable. No food was available during the tour, so pacing oneself is important. Got great information about local beers and would absolutely do it again!

Astor was a very fun and informative guide to have! I got to learn the history of beer and breweries of Iceland, go to pubs many locals go to, and try many different types of beer!
Great start to our holiday

Kris was a really lovely guy who answered all our questions, no matter what aspect of Iceland they related to. Took us to some good bars and brought us some very tasty beers to sample. We had a great time Thanks Kris :)
So much fun

Had such fun on the beer tour , we did it on our first night and Astor was a brilliant guide , I’d highly recommend doing this as it’s good to try all the local beers and find out the history behind them . Also great to see the town and get some tips on where to have a drink
Beer tour of a wide variety of Icelandic beers
emelio_p, Aug 2023
I need to start by saying my wife and I are officially beer snobs. We only drink IPA's with a preference to the hazy family. The selection on the tour did not include any of that style. If you are the type of person that likes to sample different styles of beer, this tour is for you. The bars visited were very nice. The guide was excellent, and he did a great job of explaining the history of beer in Iceland and its recent embracing of the craft beer movement. Unfortunately, in our opinion, Iceland still has a way to go. It should be noted that we met the nicest people from the US and Germany on the tour. Also, the meeting point was very easy to find.
A great start to explore Reykjavik

Great Tour
Brenda_E, Jul 2023
The guide was great- Leonard. He explained a lot of Icelandic history along w/the history of beer making in Our celandine. Very personable and nice guide.
Great intro to Icelandic craft beer

Our guide Astur was entertaining and informative, and the beers and places were fun. We went back to our last stop for a great evening 2 nights later
Best boozy history lesson ever
Evan_A, Jun 2023
I had a great time visiting bars I might not have known about and trying beers I would not have chosen, but the best part was learning about Iceland’s beer history. Even the drizzle couldn’t put a damper on the fun. I highly recommend this tour!
Fun tour and great guide!

Astor was a fun guide and was very knowledgeable about the beer and bar culture in Reykjavík. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Iceland.
