Overview

Learn to make classic Italian dishes—fettuccine and tiramisu—during this workshop in the heart of Rome. With a small group, enjoy a hands-on workshop where you learn to make these iconic dishes from scratch. Then, sit down with your fellow classmates and enjoy the meal with a glass of wine. You have plenty of time to ask questions about Italian cuisine to your host.

What To Expect

Your cooking workshop begins in the heart of Rome’s fashionable Prati district, steps away from the Tiber River.

Join an instructor and a group of up to 16 people in the kitchen. With all ingredients and equipment provided, you’ll learn how to make an Italian pasta meal from scratch.

Follow steps to prepare tasty tiramisu and handcrafted fettucine. Then, watch the chef prepare a traditional Roman sauce of your choice, either *sugo di pomodoro* (tomato sauce with basil), *amatriciana*, or *cacio e pepe*.

After you’ve cooked, sit down and enjoy a meal with your classmates. Pasta dishes are paired with your choice of red or white wine. Your workshop ends with a limoncello or Italian coffee.

This cooking class was amazing! We had the best time. Our chef was so helpful. We had fettuccini and ravioli with tiramisu. They gave us wine and water as we ate our pasta we made, and at the end gave us limoncello shots. Great experience!

A late start to a great meal

A difficult start to this event. We arrived at the restaurant in plenty of time. 2 others arrived to join us. We waited and waited and waited. About 1/2 hr past the start time, someone came to us and asked if we knew the class time had changed (6 hours later). The restaurant also changed! We did not receive the change notification. We also received constant texts about our class date and time and this information was apparently incorrect. We were able to get into another class an hour later BUT we walked about 20 minutes to get there, fortunately this didn’t include another taxi ride and expense, We found the correct restaurant and settled in for a lovely experience of cooking and enjoyed a great meal of our creations.

Great class! Laura was awesome and really taught us about the ingredients of both tiramisu and pasta and how to do variations. She goes with you step by steps, and you do get to make both your tiramisu and pasta! She’s went a bit fast at times during the pasta section but you can catch up easily. You then get to enjoy your meal without being hurried and finish with either limoncello or coffee. I wasn’t sure when I booked because there weren’t many reviews but at the end of the class they give you a card with QR code to give a review but it goes to Google maps. Would definitely recommend!

Our session was led by the lovely Carlotta, who encouraged everyone through the steps involved in making tiramisu and fettuccine. We learned new skills and had such a lot of fun.
