We are sorry for the delay. Yesterday Rome was a chaos, we had a full strike of metro and bus. Even catching a taxi was extremely difficult. Traffic was even more chaotic than usual for leaving Rome. That was the reason for the delay (which was exactly 20 min from what our GPS shows), which is in any case not an excuse from our side. We are sorry.
Yesterday 8000 people arrived to Civitavecchia, we can assure you that taking a taxi would have not been that easy, nor less expensive. First of all because it is not possible to book a taxi in advance for pick up at the port, you must do the line (and yesterday it was a long one). Secondly, you where 5 people, so you would have needed 2 vehicles.
Anyways, we are sorry for our 20 minute delay yesterday. We wont invent an excuse for that, it is not what we aim for. We are just explaining you the situation.
