      Your guide will meet you outside on the sidewalk near the entrance of Dahlia Bakery. Please do not ask the staff to confirm any information about the tour. You should expect a text message from your guide about an hour before the start time. Feel free to call or text them when you arrive.

    Having a purpose to walk around the Market. Learning the stories about each shop. Just the right amount of chocolate tasting. Not overwhelming.

    Will was an excellent guide. He was animated, pleasant and knowledgeable. The chocolate tasing experiences were much more than having a bite of chocolate. Liquid, in gluten free pastries, fine chocolate candy.

    Will, our tour guide, did an excellent job guiding us through a chocolate tasting tour. We had all types of chocolates from dark to white to mild to spicy. He was very very knowledgeable on the shops, processes the shops used, the chemistry, the inside information about sourcing and in general very fun to be with. The tour is a lot of walking in hilly Seattle, the pace is not fast though. We felt we could enjoy each stop really well. There were about six places we tried. This is also a chocolate tasting tour, not a tour on shops making chocolate. So bring some appetite and willingness to try a lot of different types of chocolates.

    Live laugh love Ivy! Literally the sweetest and friendliest tour guide ever. She made sure to be super informative about all our stops and even gave more info about the city in general. When one of our stops didn’t work out she brought us to another one that was amazing. It wasn’t all super decadent chocolate which I was appreciative of, as it made the tour overall more enjoyable.

    A Fun Way to Experience Chocolate

    We thought this would be a fun way to experience chocolate, and it WAS! Lots of little chocolate tastes, at different places. Walking around part of Seattle and into Pike Place market was really great. Even though it was raining, we did not get that wet. Will had a ton of information about Chocolate and shared a bit of it at each stop. It was a really fun way to spend some time on a topic that most people like -- CHOCOLATE! The leader Will was terrific!

    Absolutely wonderful! What I loved most was our guides, Ivy’s, passion for chocolate. We also learned that the tour guide creates the tour and different times of the year could have different stops and treats, which I think is really great! Our tour had lots of chocolate, but also some non traditional chocolate treats and a great stop for something savory to get a palette cleanse. It was perfect. Definitely highly recommend this tour!

    What a delight! A chocolate tour like none other. We tasted different forms of chocolate ( cookies, ice cream, sipping chocolate, chocolate covered cherries and more). Ivy was well versed on chocolate production and types. She was a pleasure to listen to. Seattle isn’t just for coffee… the chocolate is outstanding.

    The guide, Will seemed disorganized. Instead of having a set itinerary it appeared he wanted the customers to decide what to do and where to go. Also we had too many little chocolate drinks,which were tasty,but not many solid things

    Hello :) We always have a standard itinerary for our tours. However, with smaller tour groups sometimes we find it nice to let the guests make their preferences known. I'm sorry if this was misunderstood as me trying to have you choose where we go! We put a lot of work into knowing where the best chocolate is in the city, and love nothing more than to show it off.     First Ivy was an amazing guide. It was like having a tour of Seattle with a friend who was really knowledgeable about the subject and places. Loved that we went to out of the way gems and did chocolate in a lot of unexpected forms. Loved the small group format.

    Ivy was knowledgeable, accommodating, and had good recommendations for both chocolate and non-chocolate in the area, including for a light lunch after the tour. There were a wide variety of great samples, from caramels to drinks to baked goods to chocolate bars. Felt like good bang for our buck and a great introduction to Pike Place - would recommend!

    It was such a great tour especially if you love chocolate. It’s like wine tasting but this time with chocolate I’m which you get to taste different kinds of chocolate from different regions I’m the world at the different shops around Seattle. At some point we went to am Italian shop where we tasted hazelnut spread and other little Italian treats which was helpful to neutralize all the sweet stuff we tasted. Also, I’m gluten and dairy free so I was welcomed with a gluten and dairy free chocolate cup cake that was delicious!

    Our tour guide, Ivy, was wonderful! Everything was perfectly planned, the samples were all amazing and we learned a ton about chocolate and all of the shops we were visiting. It was such a fun way to explore Pike Place Market. We definitely would recommend to others!
