This was an amazing experience. The instructing team was very skilled, kind, and effective. The class went very smoothly. Everyone who wanted to do hands-on work had a chance to do it and the final result was an excellent meal. I would do it again anytime.

Everything about our experience was wonderful, from the moment we walked in the door and we greeted. We had a amazing time. Everything was understandable and the food we prepared delicious. Chef Francisco was amazing as well as his assistant interpreter.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed learning how to make each item on the menu although most of the experience is watching and helping occasionally. We did make the pasta from scratch. The other items would have been impossible to cook individually but we were given instructions and were able to take notes so we can give everything a try once we get home. Everyone seemed to have a great time and the meal was excellent. The chef and facilitator were awesome and fun Be aware that you have to find parking and walk about a 1/4 mile to the facility if you are driving. Even if you take a taxi you still have to walk a ways to get to the class. Allow extra time especially if driving. Some reviews complained that the chef spoke in Italian with an interpreter. That is true but he also spoke very clear English as well.

This class was the best activity we’ve done since we came to Italy! Absolutely perfect blend of instruction, participation and socializing for our group of 16, all from the states. Francesco and Julie were awesome and we would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for some good old Italian cooking and lots of fun meeting people from all over! The 4 hours flew by and we ended the night by drinking wine and eating the delicious meal we all helped create! Definitely worth the time and money!

The chef was wonderful and i learned a lot about Tuscan cooking. We made soup, dinner, and desert. The food was delicious and it was fun meeting up with other travelers. I highly recommend this adventure.

This was a great experience. Making the pasta was fun. We all took turns participating in making the other food. So far this was the best food I have had in Italy and that is saying a lot. The chef Francesco was very skilled and entertaining.

This experience was not very memorable nor worth the €120. The meal we ate was absolutely delicious and the instructions and recipes were very clear and thorough which is why I gave 3 stars. The overall experience, however, fell flat. We barely did any of the cooking (you basically just make a pasta dough and roll out your noodles). All the cooking was done by the chef and we just sat and watched. I expected it to be much more interactive. The chef speaks in Italian while a woman translates him the entire time, making the whole experience feel like you’re just watching a cooking special on the food network, not actually learning how to cook in Italy. The chef clearly had personality and I would’ve preferred him teach in English and to make the class feel more fun and less serious. Wine is included at the end but it would have been nice to at least be able to drink it while we were watching the lesson if we weren’t going to be cooking. Unless you are traveling in a big group or with lively people I would not recommend doing this class as it was quite boring and I could’ve found an equally delicious meal for a lower cost at one of the many restaurants in Siena.

This cooking class and it was the highlight of our trip to Siena! There was starter, main course and desert. All simple recipes that we could follow and make at home. We got lots of tips eg how to keep the garlic white while cooking (it should never be allowed to burn). Also how to keep the juices in the meat during cooking etc. We just came home to Ireland today and already I'm trying out one of the recipes!!!! Very friendly and very useful and we were all involved in the cooking and preparation under expert guidance and with no pressure! And to finish, we ate our delicious 3 course meal! DO NOT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE!

The whole experience was wonderful! From the tasty soup, to the pasta we made, to the beef, and finally the almond cookies - everything was delicious! Our chef Fransico was very knowledgeable and made the cooking fun for us all. They showed personal interest in where we were from, traveling to, and ancestral backgrounds. It was a delightful evening!

We traveled to Tuscany with a group of 10 and the were able to accommodate us with no issues ~ class participation if wanted, great conversation throughout class, dinner was magnificent. The menu was much different from other classes we have taken which was greatly welcomed! Highly recommended!!

Everyone was great. Lella provided instruction in Italian that was translated. Our class made dough that we then made pici pasta from, panna cotta for dessert, a chicken and potato dish, and a soup. They gave us written instructions to take home. Everything was made with simple ingredients and felt manageable to try again at home. It was fun, casual, and authentic. I learned a lot and the class size was nice with about 7 students. There was a child in our class too who was engaged and did well so I think it would be appropriate for most kids or kids that aren't too little. We cooked for maybe 2-2.5 hours and then ate our dinner in the different courses that we made for about an hour which ended the entire experience in 3.5 hours. Wine was served with dinner. The food was so incredible, the instructors were amazing and the experience was a blast!

Fun, but a little disappointing

Handmaking pici pasta was lots of fun - and it was great to see how an expert does it up close. However, the antipasto dish and the sauce for the pasta course were very similar so it felt a bit repetitive and the meat course - while delicious - felt a bit generic. In addition we hadn’t realised that the class would be given in Italian with translation and - with no negative criticism of the translation provided - a degree of personality is lost between a chef “talking while doing” and the provision of the translation.
