David was a wonderful guide. He gave us great information about Murano and Venice. The glassblowing exhibition was terrible. We learned nothing in a five minute show. However, while waiting for what happens next, we did waste 25 minutes in their showroom looking at inventory we were not interested in purchasing. Luckily, I spoke up or we would have not been offered an island tour. The guide was great. The tour was poor.

Valentina was our guide. This was such an excellent, interesting tour. Valentina was so knowledgeable about the history of Venezia & the island of Murano & Burano. We thoroughly enjoy her personality & her expertise & enjoyed not only the glassblowing demonstration but also walking through the streets of Murano with Valentina. She explained how Venice, each island, the churches & palaces & large buildings were secured & built & supported, how the streets were changed over time & layered from grass to bricks to stone & how the bridges were built to connect each section & so much more.

The guide was great but for the money you honestly could just take a water taxi over and explore on your own for a fraction of the cost. The glass blowing was less than 5 minute demonstration.

We did buy a beautiful piece at the end of the tour to display in our new wine bar area in our house. Well worth the time and expense. Would recommend the your highly.

Tour guide was fantastic (5 stars) - I gave it 4 starts because this Private tour with private taxi was not private - we were with another couple - also on the 'private' taxi back, there were 2 other couple and guides - so this private tour ended up not so private.

Private tour... Met by our guide and given a brief / nice walking tour on the way to the water taxi that took the three of us to the island. Saw glassworks being created (Sunday is a slow day to see the shop - Not highly recommended to visit on Sunday... We were just a couple of feet away from a glass master who made a horse in a matter of minutes. After the presentation, we were taken upstairs to the show room - We had already intended on purchasing some glass but bought more than we intended (NO BUYERS REMORSE). Had the items shipped to us back home ~10% duty was due as expected but we read that it could be much more. We requested DHL as they are more reputable than other shippers we had read about. Everything arrived A-OK and packed well. Very happy with the entire experience. If the glass you purchase is small, consider carrying it home in an extra bag. Extra luggage costs may be cheaper than shipping duties. There is more to see in the shop other days of the week
