This was one of the best tours I have done. Christina our tour guide was extremely knowledgable, answered a lot of our questions going above and beyond and she really brought the tour to life!

Stayed too long in one spot for a walking tour

We were all looking forward to this very important tour of our Jewish heritage. Our tour guide meant well, but had us stay in the same spot for 45 minutes during what was supposed to be a 2 hour walking tour. It was extremely frustrating! Then when the synagogue tour started, a different guide came and repeated almost the same tour in a faster way with entrance to the synagogues. I would recommend only doing the synagogue portion of the tour.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, giving us an excellent review of the history of the Jews in Venice and an understanding of the important roles they played in Venice's society and growth. Also, she gave a very moving account of their experience during WWII and their ensuing tragedy. Unforgettable.

I found this tour good, but not great. Claire was engaging and dynamic. But the narration was a bit inefficient and repetitive — we all felt that this 2 hour tour could have been done in 1 hour. We all learned a lot and the guide was responsive and informative. It just could have been tighter

Poor Ghetto experience

1st tour guide ( ghetto) was a bit difficult to understand . Had a heavy accent ! 2nd tour guide ( synagogue) was good Most undesirable was the fact that I could get a refund due to canceling my wife and son’s attendance Both woke up sick Monday morning and could not make it Under the circumstances I should be able to get a refund

Hilaria was a wonderful tour guide. She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area. We learned the history of Jewish Ghetto, from it's origin to present day, and saw the insides of two synagogues.

This operator is unempahetic to sick children.

We would have loved to see this your but our daughter became sick that morning. The tour operator did offer an alternative time but we were leaving for another city by then. Im very displeased with their lack of empathy for keeping our money despite a situation we could not control. Won't be using them again.

This was an interesting and moving tour. It's amazing what people have gone through. The small memorial tiles in front of the homes of Holocaust victims was particularly thought-provoking.

DO NOT BOOK. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. The tour guide was not so knowledgeable and stopped in inconvenient places in the sun to explain long things. This tour guide gave false information about the jewish ghetto, and after reading more about it, it was horrible to be told incorrect info. The guide talked about the Jews being locked in all night but then said, "they could walk around all day so it was fine" was terrible to hear. Anyone locked in a place at night is clearly not free! This was a horrible tour with false information. I would recommend the tour given by the jewish foundation, which starts in the same place, which my family went to after this horrible tour, and gave much more information.

Wonderful tour with Christina. She was very knowledgeable about the long Jewish history in Venice and Italy. We also did the Synagogue tour - got to go into one. Levantine shul had a wedding scheduled that day. Museum is under renovation so not open to visitors
