Known as the City of the Gods, Teotihuacán was the metropolis of a mysterious Mesoamerican civilization that reached its zenith around AD 100. Once the largest city in the region but abandoned centuries before the arrival of the Aztecs, Teotihuacán boasts towering pyramids and stone temples with detailed statues and intricate murals.

A++ Tour of Teotihuacan
We had the best tour of Teotihuacan. There were 10 family members - with children as young as 2. Pick-up and drop-off was directly at our AirBnb location in Condesa. The van was clean and comfortable. The tour guides were extremely friendly and knew so much of the history of Teotihuacan. It was a great experience. The schedule was also flexible, allowing us to stop for coffees in the morning and fresh fruit on our way home.

Great Memorable tour.
Jesus Leon Arturo was the private guide for my wife Karen and me, Dennis Johnson. He was most informative and when he realized that I was familiar with this subject, I think he enhanced his presentation. Karen was five months out from knee replacement surgery and he assisted both of us in visiting Teotihuacan.

Awesome knowledgeable guide -- Pepe!!
Pepe was a wonderful, knowledgeable and understanding guide. I forgot my phone at my hotel and he was kind to drive me back to pick it up. Then happily took us to Basilica de Guadalupe even though it was not added or discussed previously. He adapted to our needs and likes. In addition to this we really felt we understand Teotihuacan and Basilica de Guadalupe history a lot better.

A Great Day at the Ruins
Our tour guide Pepe was fantastic. He is an archeologist and obviously passionate and knowledgeable about the topic. He knew the history of the Teotihuacan site as well as others in the city and was able to put everything we observed into historical context. His narrative made viewing the ruins and sites incredibly interesting. He was also very friendly in general. Both I and my husband really enjoyed the day and it is our favorite thing that we did while in CDMX.

Q:Can you climb Teotihuacan pyramids?

A:Teotihuacan is home to two pyramids: the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon. The Pyramid of the Sun is the largest of the two.
Q:What do you wear to Teotihuacan?

Q:Are there bathrooms at Teotihuacan?
A:Yes, there are public bathrooms available at Teotihuacan, but only near the access points and not in the main site itself.
Q:What time does Teotihuacan open?
