Overview

Discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Waddensea during a 7-hour tour from Amsterdam.     We will leave from De Ruijterkade 153, 1011 AC Amsterdam, next to the ALOHA café (at the end of the River Cruises Docks, under the big bowling pin). It is behind the Central Train Station. Take the IJ exit of the Central Station and turn right, keep the water on your left and walk 300m (1/4 Mi)!

A different side of Amsterdam for nature lovers

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Sarah, our guide, even picked us up at our hotel outside of the city center to start the tour on an easier note! She took us to the quaintest little towns on the way to see the seals, we stopped at a working windmill and got to climb inside, and had cappuccinos and Cokes at a cute little cafe. We walked a bit though the town near the windmill (again, very cute with an old rail station and historic buildings) and then had about a 20+ min drive to get on the boat. The boat ride is cold (bring a hoodie or a puffer jacket - some sort of extra layer!) but the staff were very welcoming and you can have a hot chocolate or adult beverage to warm up! The seals are super cute, but as expected, you don't get TOO close to them. They are also very timid of the people on the boat when they can hear you through the wind and they will scoot into the sea to hide. If you're a nature lover and like to get off the beaten path, this is a great tour - it's relaxing and you get to see a different side of The Netherlands! Thanks so much Sarah!

The "safari " was very interesting .The Wadden Sea is the largest tidal flats system in the World.This sea is listed by UNESCO as World Heritage We started from Amsterdam by car until HARLINGEN which is a beautiful small town .The people were very kind ,like everywhere in Netherlands.After that we go on boat and for 2,5 hours we sailed by the sea .There were a lot of birds in their natural habitat and what was for me the most extraordynary thing I saw a lot of seals .Beautiful !

Magnifique excursion, Eva et Sarah sont adorables, des supers guides qui parlent bien le français. La visite d'un magnifique village hollandais et la croisière où nous avons admiré les phoques et les oiseaux. Nous recommandons cette excursion, vraiment. Merci a Eva et Sarah, elles sont adorables! Si vous lisez ça les filles: on ne vous oubliera pas!
