Pick up time is 9:00am. When you want to start the tour at a different time feel free to ask. We pick up from any hotel, Airbnb address or location in Amsterdam within a radius of 6 miles (10 kilometers) from the city center. For a pickup (and/or return) from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport or another location outside the 6 miles radius we charge €30,- cash payment on the day itself. That is because the airport is 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the city center so it’s costing us extra time and we pay over 2 euros per liter gasoline. Please note; after you have made a booking it is not possible to increase the amount of passengers without extra costs!

A Ten Star Experience!

Our private guided tour with Phillip was outstanding! He is a delightful, entertaining and knowledgeable source of information about tulips, Dutch history, geography, land reclamation… you name it. He’s a walking encyclopedia. We requested to start at Keukenhof Gardens and left the rest to him. He took us to the windmills in Zaan, a small cheese factory, through tulip fields and towns not filled with tourists. If we could give him 10 stars, we would. This day with Phillip was a highlight of our 2 week trip in the Netherlands and Belgium.

We had a wonderful time on this tour in October 2023. Phillip was a fantastic guide/storyteller, and when we asked to hit all the highlights in Holland he delivered. Walking around the windmills and historical structures in Zaanse Schans with chocolate from a near by factory wafting in the air is one of my favorite memories from our entire trip. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

It was a wonderful day with Philip. The tour of the windmills was a highlight. Philip knew so many people, and shared so many stories. We walked through back alleys, and saw very interesting things that are probably bypassed by regular tours. There was great discussion of history and politics And life. Excellent Can’t Miss Day Trip Experience in Holland

Everything about the trip was wonderful. We saw windmills at Zaanse Schans, including a special behind the scenes private visit, saw smaller lovely villages like Monnickendam, and generally had a fabulous time. Phillip was full of information about the history of the windmills, the country and the villages, took us to a great place for lunch, and kept us all interested for the whole day. Fantastic trip for the adults and the teenagers. Having the private trip meant we could explore and be flexible - we loved the experience.

This was the highlight of our trip! Phillip was awesome. He kept my wife and I as well as our 12 year daughter engaged and entertained all day and that’s not an easy task. Very comfortable / roomy vehicle. Very knowledgeable and well connected. Had opportunities to see things that most tourists / general public doesn’t have. Great stops and shops based on our feedback. This tour is easily worth every penny and more! I have nothing to say about the entire experience isn’t tremendous and will definitely do this again.

A wonderful and informative day out with Tuen, we highly recommend this tour! He collected us from our hotel and we toured windmills, a cheese and clog making factory amongst many other things and stopped for lunch at a Harbourside village for the best pea and ham soup ever.
