Small group, great food, amazing adventure

A great experience visiting a wonder of the world. Our guide Samuel was very knowledgeable and kept us on time and gave great direction on the major things to see. Guiermo our driver was safe and speedy. I really liked it was a small group. The cenote was clear and cool and we had a great time jumping in! The food at lunch was delicious, grilled chicken, rice and beans, lime soup, slow cooked pork, and super fresh tomatoe salad.

The day took 14 hours so be prepared. There is alot of travelling. The buffet was fine, there was plenty of food. Our tour guide was an absolute gem of a man, Nevarro. Funny, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. Lots of people trying to sell you stuff everywhere. A strong no and you shld be OK. Amazing places to see and well worth it

A must-experience tour

Overall the tour was a great experience. Hubiku Cenote was a stunning place and quite convenient with clean bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms - and the lunch buffet is in another building just a minute walk from the cenote. It was also great to interact with the Mayan locals and support their business. Chichen Itza was also amazing to behold, and the guide Karla did a great job in explaining the history, the cultural purpose, and the architectural significance of the temple structures. Finally, Valladolid was a taste of the Spanish Colonial influence - the town square had plenty of local snacks, food, and some traditional dance performances. It was definitely a long day, be prepared for a long bus ride and plenty of walking. Make sure to read the tips so that you are properly equipped. The only complaint I have is that the communication from the tour company wasn't great at the start in terms of the pickup details - they didn't send out a pickup confirmation in writing (email) so there was a miscommunication on the pickup location which was quite stressful to resolve. It ended up working out though, which we were quite happy with as we would've missed a great experience otherwise.
Worst company to deal with

We were told to be in the lobby at 7:10 the day before and that our tour operator would either text or call us when they were close by. We were in the lobby and waited until 7:30(when the ticket said pick up time would be) and no call or text, it wasn’t until the third time I called the tour operator they answered and told us they tried to find us and because they couldn’t we should now take a taxi 2.5 hours away to chichen itza… not going to happen. I called the company and explained that there must have been a mistake because we have been in the lobby since 7:07 they refused to hear my explanation and refused to refund me. This company will leave you stranded and there isn’t a thing you can do about it because of “policy” the operator had a video of them calling out for us but like that doesn’t prove they didn’t show up to early like I had suggested and had they of simply called or texted like I was told they would this whole situation would have been avoided. Where ever you are staying in Cancun, playa del Carmen, talum…exct just book with a local excursion crew near your resort it will save you a lot of hassle and money.
Lovely and interesting tour

We really enjoyed this trip, the bus was very comfortable and the guides were great! I would bring an umbrella as there is little shade when listening to the lecture. Still really great!
A long day but definitely worth it

Be prepared for a long day on the bus, however, totally worth it. The guides spoke good english and were very knowledgeable on the historical culture.
