Duomo climb

The Doumo was everything we expected and the walk to the top though tough was excillerating once out and seeing the rooftops of Florence

Skip the Skip and buy direct . This is not a skip the line tour

This is not a skip the line tour. It’s basically a ticket service. In fact the “host” directed us to the wrong entrance almost delaying our place in line. Buy your ticket directly from the Duomo. The Dome and the view are worth it. Be first in line when it opens as the stair way is very narrow and will get congested. You may have to wait in a small narrow space. Do not do this if you are not in good physical condition, afraid of heights or claustrophobic. Some people needed help to reach the top.

Duomo is amazing, tour operators ruin it

We did ticket only. It allowed us to see those sights at our own pace. But I am Very frustrated with the movement in Italy for tour operators to buy up All the tickets for popular venues, so they can resell them with a significant markup.

Don’t fail to skip the line

Whatever you do, get this skip the line ticket to get into the Duomo and the cathedral. Hundreds of people waiting for hours standing in the sun on stone. we got in within a 15 minute window assigned to us. More than 470 steps, so, get your workouts in before attempting this. Absolutely astounding view.

Worth every step taken

It's a straight get to walking up 465 stairs. They are straight, circulation, steep, uneven, close amd if you are tall prepare to crouch. However it was well worth it. the halfway point is the inside of the dome and boy are some of those scenes graphic! The second half is climbing the dome to the cupola. The view and the breeze is brilliant. Bring water with you!!

Worth it

Great! Find person in yellow vest near entrance who will give you tickets they look at but not scan near entrance. Then you still have to get in a line but it moves quickly and isn’t crowded on the way up. Don’t get claustrophobic - fear of heights beware - some stairwells feel shaky yikes

Incredible views of Florence and the dome is amazing. If you are claustrophobic or can’t do a lot steps, this is not for you. If these things don’t bother you, this is a must!

Superbe vue depuis la coupole su duomo de Florence. L ascension des 463 marches est assez facile. Les peintures de l interieur de la coupole sont magnifiques mais le meilleur est la vue extérieure à 360° de Florence. Le billet comprend le pass intégral des monuments autour de la cathédrale : cathédrale, coupole, baptistère, clocher, musée de l opera. Je recommande.
