Beautiful, fun trip!
Karen_G, Apr 2024
We had a blast! The day was long, but our guides, Dani and Juliano, were wonderful and made the day very enjoyable for the entire experience.

Beautiful scenery of course. BUT extraordinarily complicated/stress-inducing logistics requiring SEVEN MILES OF WALKING and INSUFFICIENT bathroom stops. And, after all that, no entrance ticket to Pisa! Why were those details not made known in advance? 7:15 am - 8:30 pm. An all around painful and exhausting day. Would never recommend it to anyone but the most young/hardy.
Must do

Do not mix Cinque Terre and Pisa
SANJAY_P, Apr 2024
Enjoyed Cinque Terre but less time at Pisa. We had to meet the tour operator in 50 minutes and hardly could explore at Pisa. We had to do another trip next day.
excellent

Renata was a great tour guide.We had a great trip.Everything was on time.Very well organized.Love it.Thank you.
Glad we at least got the pictures.
Amelia_V, Apr 2024
Our guide was very kind and despite we had to take trains in between, Dani was always sure nobody missed the train. She and her colleague were very attentive. On the downside, the tour is very tiresome, I would have loved to have more time on the first town than the 2nd. The food suggested by the guide was not very good, as well as disorganized, poor treatment, and the guide basically scare you into buying that touristic menú, when it good have been better to go and explore and find food on your own. The information provided on the places visited was very spars and what we did learnt was quite shallow. You a have very limited time at each of the stops. And even less time if you have the tourists menú.
Amazing places, but tour guide could be better

Going to the islands and Pisa was amazing. The bummer was that there was so much walking from the bus to each destination that we weren’t expecting. It took a long time to get to the actual destinations once parked. The 4 of us in our group thought Jessica, our tour guide was nice, but she didn’t really give us a lot of history or information about the places we were at. She was also a little difficult to understand at times saying the wrong words in English. Overall though, we are happy we went.
Cinque Terre+Pisa+YoungFamilyof4=Fun

We had an amazing experience visiting Cinque Terre and Pisa with our fantastic tour guide Jessica! 💖 She was the most sweetest, kindest, and genuine person ever. Very knowledgeable, as all tour guides should be and personable during our tour. She also gave recommendations as to where and what to eat. We took this tour with a family of 4, husband and I and our 2 kids, age 12y and 8y. My kids did awesome with all the walking we did. It was definitely an amazing tour and highly highly recommend this tour and if possible get Jessica as your tour guide. 💖 Grazie mille Jessica!
Great tour guide
Kathryn_P, Apr 2024
Dani was a great tour guide, very personable and easy to understand. Meeting spot was easy to find. The bus was comfortable. Unfortunately, the tour description is not accurate. We only saw 2 of the 5 Cinque Terre villages, not 3, and there was no optional hike.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Hi Kathryn_P, We're pleased to read that you enjoyed our Cinque Terre & Pisa Day Trip! Thank you for leaving us your feedback and for acknowledging Dani's excellent guiding skills. Dani is one of our top expert tour guides in Italy. We appreciate your perspective on the tour description. Our Cinque Terre tour pages on all platforms specifically mentions that guests will "visit three of the five villages that make up Cinque Terre, one of Italy's most scenic destinations." Additionally, the light hike is always available at Monterosso, and guests simply need to express their interest to the tour guide. We understand that preferences vary among travelers, and some may prefer to spend their time enjoying the beach, shops, or local cuisine. We're glad you found the meeting spot easy to locate and the bus comfortable. We aim to provide nothing short of exceptional on all tours and experiences. If you have any further questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out. We hope you made wonderful memories during your time in Cinque Terre and Pisa. Happy Travels, The City Wonders Team

Seeing the sights in cinque Terre! And the Pisa tower was great. The van ride was nice and comfortable. Train was good Walking was too much and too fast for us.

Antonio was amazing. His knowledge of the area and the history made the date so much better. He was very attentive to everyone’s needs and was always willing to answer questions.
Relaxed pace. Beautiful scenery.
Dawn_S, Feb 2024
Beautiful sights! Antonio was a great guide, it was nice to let him navigate from one beautiful village to the next while making recommendations and giving us historical highlights. Highly recommend.
Great little day trip!
Nick_K, Feb 2024
Nathan was a great host. He’s not a tour guide. Basically he takes you on the bus then train and leaves you be in each of the towns to do as you please. Learnt nothing of the history or any information. We did see all 5 towns though and a special suprise at the end!
Fantastic Experience!
Isa_S, Jan 2024
This was such a good way to get an overview of Cinque Terre For the planner-type people who like to know everything: - We stopped by a gas station before the train station to use the bathroom/grab breakfast (in case you didn't get breakfast ahead of time) - We went in November, so most of the food places/gelaterias were closed. Make sure you look up your favorite restaurants ahead of time if you go during the off-season! - During the off-season the trains leave every hour, so instead of the hour-and-a-half in each place, we had one hour. The positive to that is that no one was there! So we had a lot of time to explore without any crowds or people wandering into our pictures - We opted out of the hike and were glad to do so (we're wandering-types), we did the Vernazza hike and regretted it--it was a million stairs for an okay view - You might end up going to the towns in a different order than written!
Tour guide Danny was great. Tour description was not
Angela_V, Dec 2023
Dani was a great organizer. My tour said it included an optional wine hiking.tour. It was not part of the tour at all.

dean_w, Nov 2023
Jessica was a great guide and we learned about the region. Trip was well organized. A lot of walking so be prepared.
Better without the crowd
Kevin_H, Sep 2023
Lunch by the sea in Monterosso was pretty spectacular Our guide Renata did a fantastic job navigating us through the the chaotic train stations and around the towns with clear information and facts If booking any trip to these towns be aware of how crowded they are,the train stations are very small and not designed to manage such large crowds We we’re in a group of 15 which was managed really well by Renata . Some of the groups from the cruise ships (we had 2 docked at la Spezia) were extremely large So be sure you are comfortable in large crowds and being jostled
Each and every little town offered beautiful scenery, great color, stunning views and tasty treats.
Sharon_S, Sep 2023
Great experience visiting the Cinque Terre. Our guide gave us details about each of the 3 towns we would be visiting and shepherded us to each one so that our only worry was that of 'where did we want to spend our time', strolling the colorful streets or walking along the shoreline. There was ample time to do both and my little group even took some time to walk into the sea. Our guide, Guilliano, did an excellent job in keeping us calm and upbeat when we were faced with a long train delay, beyond human control. He kept us informed and together. It was a great day in the sun at the sea.
Tour guide was the star of the show
Brittany_H, Sep 2023
Truly the best and most convenient way to visit the beautiful Cinque Terre from Florence! We had a great time on the Cinque Terre Day trip, even with an unexpected an unavoidable delay at the end. This trip was the perfect way to travel from Florence and make full use of a day visiting Cinque Terre. The meeting point was centrally located and convenient, the bus transportation was easy and comfortable, but the true star of the show was our tour guide Guliano. Throughout the day Guliano gave valuable information and directions in each of the 3 towns visited, clear meeting times and locations, and enough freedom to explore each town on our own. All of the towns were lovely and we were so happy to be able to experience the beauty of this wonderful place! All went extremely smoothly, until there was an accident/incident along the train line and a train delay on our return journey (a rare and unusual occurrence - but these things can happen when traveling). I was extremely impressed with the way that Guliano handled the unprecedented situation - getting as much information as possible and sharing it with everyone in the group. While this situation was completely out of anyone on the tour's control, Guiliano handled it expertly and ensured that we all arrived safely back in Florence. Especially with the train delay, we were so happy to be on this tour - as we would have had a difficult time navigating the situation ourselves!
